11-14 headlights were the last great “headlight” before everything went to squinty headlights. And the hoods were way better. Don’t know why dodge went away with them. I bought a 12 rt awd last year because they are going to get harder and harder to find. With 6 inches of snow today, it didn’t give me any issues driving 50 miles. But when it’s time to get another, I’ll for sure get a newer charger. They don’t look bad by any means!

@@yodaevil aesthetically, yes. I had a 2012 SXT I loved to bits. The headlights had a refelctor style though...wish it was projector. careful, v8s are on the chopping block. Hellcats ending in 2024, and I'm sure the r/t and 392s will come after.

Both are nice but the 2013 has more of a muscular look , my favorite srt Gen tbh

I wouldn’t say “all” years because in my opinion the 66-70 looks the best BY FAR. Again that’s just my opinion, some people hate old cars.

2013 was a very nice year for the charger indeed. Family also has two 2012 charger rats heavily modified.

I like the look of the 2012 - 2014 over the new ones. Still has that old school charger look 😎

It’s crazy how much of a difference a transmission can make the cammed and tuned 2013 is probably making 70-100 more HP then the scat pack but the scat pack was still pretty much right next to him

I used to hate the looks of the 2011 to 2014 Dodge Charger. Maybe still do. They were ahead of their time and with a few mods have some decent capabilities. I just hate the front end. And the aftermarket front ends were not so good either. I have a 2008 and I love everything about it. The 2015 had potential, but the Hellcat front end was awesome. Flash forward to today and they all come with that front end except for the entry level model. They look great, but there is nothing to make it stand out. Maybe that is what is great about it. But not for everyone.

I used to own 2013 RT and now I own 2019 RT… initially the when facelift came in 2015 I didn’t like it at that because I loved the aggressive facie of 2013…. But now the 2019 RT is my baby and I love it more then 2013 💕

The 2012-14 Superbee looks more of muscle car than the new 392, which is what I have. The 8speed trans over the 5speed is the only reason I chose the newer one as it shows In the video.

Reminds me of franklins car in GTA V. Came out in 2013 so makes sense that it looks similar

Damn, i did a few of these with my 2020 scat, stock2stock never loss yet but their was no more then half car length between us, not enough to brag but enough to win, nice run.

that scat pack needs some tires. What are those the 245s or the 275? You can see how much spinning he was doin at the start haha. Either tires or ease into the launch. Even in my R/T they were spinning with the stock setup.

Racing wise, 8 speed is better because it keeps you in your peak power band longer. The 2013 won because it is Cammed and on drag radials.

@@FatboySips I raced a 8 speed SRT 392 in my 2014 392 5 speed, but it was so intense I couldn't record. We was neck and neck, through traffic and everything. One thing I have realized is the 8 speed is faster but not aggressive, it will take off but the longer gear of 5 speed doesn't let it pull more than a half car from u, that being said there's nothing to miss except gas mileage and maybe a better get up and go compared to 5 speed 392 but make no mistake, the distance is never long enough to fit another car btw them. I would go for hellcat after this not scatpack

@@hermessrt2414 truly bro we think the same lol. Ive seen the output from those 8 speeds and theyre good trannys but like you said its just mpg that youre gaining and the whole takeoff shit. I raced a 18 ram 1500 r/t and like you said couldnt record but in the three times we raced it was all 30 rolls he got me once by like a fender and the second and third i beat him by like half my charger. Very neck and neck it could go both ways🤷🏾‍♂️

@@FatboySips right that's why they always say the 8speed is at its peak power but then again 15 HP and 3 extra speed is not enough. The 8 speed 392 needs to be 500hp to make a significance then yea I'll consider it. Otherwise I'll just say nice car, not omg that's a fast car except you bring a hellcat

This is just my guess but the reason why I think the newer one lost was because it has all newer tech which weighs the car down a lot
