@24:40 when Big Jerm missed that putt... it must feel like CRAP to have McBeast step up and slam it dead center from the same exact spot....geesh. heartbreaker. that dude is a fucking beast.

Seriously, how can anyone even compete with him? Mcbeth is like some sort of disc golf cyborg, his putting is beyond belief.

I am now convinced that tall lanky people have an advantage when it comes to throwing the disc.. Schusterick, Lizzotte and this Cole kid all seem to throw bombs and weigh a combined total of 150 lbs LOL.. Took a friend of mine out for a round and he had never played but had thrown a Frisbee when he was younger (15 years ago) and he is 6'3 and skinny/ long arms and he he what seems to be no technique whatsoever and he just steps up and throws 300-320 ft.. Made me sick that I have practiced for quite a while now and only throw 350-375 accurately LOL.

Is there any footy from the Blue round at Trophy?

  • @dontnicemebro

I think McFly So High filmed the WPO 3rd round which played the blue layout at Trophy Lakes. Due to time/day-light constraints, the TD changed round 4 to the white's. No one was filming round 3 for MPO.

What is with the hole @ 8:33? Why not just throw a mid range strait at it? Am I missing something? Seems sometimes, these pro's like to throw big hyzers etc when they can just keep it simple..

  • @MountaindewM

+drvn1 Little late but my guess would be the grass is thick and normally a spike hyzer won't skip but the forehands that some of them throw have a habit to skip more normally. I personally would opt for a putter shot up the right side of the basket with a slight hyzer finish. A putter shouldn't hit and roll or slide much in that grass since it seems fairly thick.

  • @Warkive

A spike hyzer is highly repeatable and reliable, especially in the wind. A straight shot can float left or right quite a bit, whereas a spike can only drift a tiny bit. Basically, at their level it's a higher percentage shot because they can throw so far, whereas mortals like us need a straight shot to get that far reliably.

Jerm was OFF this round putting man... had the same problem at the European Prelim. I dont get it... hes SUCH a good putter...but he missed like 4 10 footers here

His weakness has always been his mental game. He missed a few flick drives in this round that he hits 99% of the time normally... He needs to mature a bit more before he will be consistent like the other top players.
