    Excellent. I always used channellocks to compress the piston, but I like that compressor tool. This video is complete and a great resource. Thanks.

    KZread mech here….. The Escape is a new car to me. 7mm for the caliper bolts? Another said T45. Either way I need to buy

    I always change brake fluid when pads are changed out. Normally you have to change brake fluid every 2 yrs due to moisture in the system. When front pads are changed out , I only flush the front circuit. So overall you have good brake fluid and no moisture/corrosion and thereby can built up inside the calipers. ( piston stuck )

    make sure you don't over torque the lugnuts. I had to replace both of my back rears.

    My wife has a 2020 Lincoln Corsair which is based on the Escape. I don't know if it's the same for the Escape but the Corsair has to be placed in maintenance mode on the touch pad before you can work on it. I found out the hard way that this must be done.
