A pseudo-renault! Thanks! Well done! And even better, saving time by shooting two birds with the same shot: gearbox and right driveshaft at the same time! Impressive!! Some questions: why OEM DMF this time? Maybe it is better quality? Or it just was at hand? It is really annoying how you manage to record video and use ratchet with DMF and clutch with so little space. By the way, are you using two cameras at the same time? Thanks a lot!!
@WMCS
4 жыл бұрын
Oscar Montero it’s definitely a Renault engine under there. Actually same engine and gearbox as my work van All repairs I use OEM parts except this one came in a more fancy box ..lol. Some cars I can leave the driveshaft in. Especially Japanese cars ... as there’s room to reach the bolts. In fact if I could reach all the bolts easily I’d happily leave that side driveshaft in. No it’s only one camera. So I had to do a double take to show what was happening Hope the videos are good
@oscarmontero5724

@@WMCS I meant the Genuine Parts Renault box. I thought (and I think, it is original, not aftermarket). Yes, the double view as the gearbox was going out and then in, was definitely a good point for this video, together with the DMF change. Keep going on! Many thanks!

I have bad expirience with OEM renault Luk kit with juddering on clutch release. Just 30k km after full kit change with flywheel judder on half clutch release started like with factory installed one. Now I'm not sure what brand to buy/install?

Amazing job bro.
Why the new flywheel and the new clutch don't look the same with the old ones? Is it normal, or there is a part filmed from another job? Thank you
Do you have any other videos apart from clutches
Great job man I did my qashqai about 11 months ago and now I have to take it apart again due to those crappy plastic bearing housing they use now they can not with stand the pressure over time so I have to replace that slave cylinder again as it threw all the clutch fluid out 😭😭

@@WMCS I meant the Genuine Parts Renault box. I thought (and I think, it is original, not aftermarket). Yes, the double view as the gearbox was going out and then in, was definitely a good point for this video, together with the DMF change. Keep going on! Many thanks!
Great ,thanks

Hello Kevin,need help,am fitting Nissan qashqai dci 1.5 Diesel flywheel,is there any mark I should consider ?
Hi. Does anyone have the torq spec for the clutch and flywheel for a quasqai 1.6 dci
Qual pistola elétrica você usa?
Respect😮👍💯
Good morning!! great tutorial, I have a question. to submit to you, when reassembling my clutch on my nissan quaskai, 1.5 dci 2010; 2014; I happen to have installed a bimass bag. here is my question: is it normal that the flywheel does not turn manually during assembly: I have not yet mounted the clutch Thank you for answering me
@WMCS
Жыл бұрын
It’s not suppose to turn. You should only have a small resistance movement from side to side no more than 1/4 inch.
Thank you
Was the original clutch by Sachs?
Hi thanks for the upload... I do like to like something , I’ve a similar vehicle and have the same problem of flywheel, I removed and place it back but the car won’t start , so is there anything that needs to be done to flywheel like calibration or something , please help

The only thing that will stop the car from starting will be the cranck shaft sensor. Change that for a new one and you should be on your way.

I have the same motor 2013 6 speed Qashqai would you know If they suffer from a rather heavy clutch pedal to depress ? Or is that a sign of a worn clutch or would bleeding the clutch make the clutch pedal lighter ? Cheers for any advice on this matter 👍

Definitely a sign of worn pressure plate.

Does the engine need re timing after new flywheel install or am i overthinking lol? Ive changed the clutch & flywheel and just have to bleed the system and fill gearbox with oil etc. Im an overthinker lol do i need to turn engine by hand or just start it up after everythings completed?

If I may ask. What was the mileage on this vehicle when you replaced the DMF? And what brand was it? I know it came out of a Renault parts box, but was it a LUK or VALEO? Thanks

Unlocker-Pro if it’s an external slave cylinder then no. I wouldn’t even crack the nipple to bleed it. As it’s a sealed unit. Only replace if it’s leaking in my opinion
