W212 cars like this are generally regarded as being rather reliable for what they are. My buddy who owns this one has mainly only had to maintenance this it in the period of time since this video was made. However he did opt to have the timing chain replaced for preventative maintenance, and he got some new tires for winter.

@@erdoganog I haven’t ridden in a 213, but for the money a 212 can’t be beat. They went heavy into plastics after the 212.

Does this car have parking sensors as I didn't see you have a button to turn the parking sensors on and off? Are there models without parking sensors?

Are repairs that expensive. My newphew is selling his with 48000 on it. Perfect condition. I am wavering...

I don’t understand why the trim is called wood it is made of cheap plastic that’s why it fades and the seats are not leather they are made of cheap vinyl another plastic just bunch of lies MB uses to cheat people they think MB is an exceptional car No Way

No I can’t agree with you! It does have a real leather and real wood trim! Please search more carefully before giving incorrect information!

Its definitely not cheap plastic. Its very high quality, does not fade, the vinyl too but does not crack like leather. The trims can be polished if needed as the finish is deep. The seats clean up like new year after year. My 2012 S212 (wagon) looks and drives like new today.

I have one and the wood trim does fade significantly, the seats are made of an artificial leather vinyl, but it is actually more durable than leather and you can’t tell the difference.

They clearly state the material on the window sticker, if you want real leather you pay for it.

I think people don't now the difference between between wood and plastic wooden colors shade !
