Those Fiesta handle quite well the curves. I mean for an economy car I was very surprised. With little modifications such as lowering springs and corksport torsion bar you get a great handler (quite tail happy), easy on gas and cheap. A great option if you don't like the Fit's styling. When they came out those were among the best bang for the buck economy car you could buy. Great review.
The one and 2 being gone on the fan control is the blower motor resister being bad. Under/behind the glove box. Couple bolts, unplug pull and replace.
Good review for what I should expect & looking forward to saving some fuel & still having a few options like heated seats. I live in the NW & fuel is 5 a gallon
I saw on sale a 2015 Ford Fiesta manual sedan painted Neon Green. You could see the thing from a mile away.
I got a automatic sedan. Well known for having bad transmission but I had it replaced for free under warranty. 56k miles so far no problems.
I just bought Fiesta 2011 with the same engine but in Europe only you can get is 3 door hatch/coupe like version with the bodykit and which includes 16 or 17 alloy wheels, side skirt, sport diffuser, front lip spoiler and ST roof spoiler which comes on ST version later in 2014 in UK trim level is called Zetec S and in rest of Europe Fiesta Sport and also comes with sportier suspension in facelift from 2013-2017 they change the name of the trim to ST-line you get the look of the ST but not the power.
10:31 it seems you're keeping the rpms low where you could be higher, as if you're intentionally keeping it out of the upper midrange powerband. you're just driving it too gently, it would struggle less with higher rpm and more momentum-keeping. I love this car I have to get one lol
What causes regular over heating?
so were you intentionally driving a slow car slow or is it really that bad? from the other vids I've seen it's not like they're horribly slow on the backroads if you keep shifting and stay in the powerband. I want one, but I want to put the 4.3 final in the ST 6 smt and put that in mine. different animal with close ratios and a 4.3 final, but same unmolested engine. just an intake and exhaust, and get it mapped to stage 1 by a UK tuner which bumps the hp by 20-30 and the tq by 5-10. i think that would be the PERFECT daily fiesta that you can rip on the backroads. just swap all the ST bits over to it, but get the 4.3 final and lsd, then you basically have a Fiesta SE-R
What a pleasant drive. Where is this?
I love my 2011 SE manuel I just brought. No complaints bc I wanted a small car. No expectation to drive like a Cadallic bc it wasn't made for that....please man😮 compare to toyota corolla, Honda Fit, or Nissan Versa etc. But just stop
My fiesta has just fan setting 4 and nothing else does anything. Mine is holding up in the rust belt well with little to no care at 110k miles. I expect it to live past its first timing belt replacement and see if anything happens from there.

I have 3 and 4 setting left that still work. The radio just took a shit on mine.
2:50 i also got stolen the plastic of the mirror, got damn it
How different is this from that 07 model?
@DailyDrivers

The Fiesta in 07 was a completely different car. It was In Europe, not the US. The US didn't get the next generation Fiesta until 2011

Wow and what year is your car? I have a 2011 five speed with 117k miles and expect any day the belt to go. But maybe not!

@@joeyschmoey9138 2013. Bought it brand new. Glad I got the 5-speed! I'm at 245000 now as my job isn't that far now. The motor mounts have gone out and it vibrates like mad when at low rpm or in reverse.
blower motor resistor......
