I mean, both Vettel and Alonso have compelling arguments why they deserved to be champion in 2012. Vettel was clearly the fastest guy that season and reliability problems made the championship go down to the wire. But Alonso absolutely drove his heart out and almost managed to win a title in a car that shouldn't've been close to a title contender. In the end I'm happy with the result as a Vettel supporter, but shows how brutal motorsport can be, there can only be one champion but sometimes there are more people who deserve it.
