It has similar fuel consumption to my old 2 litre petrol Mondeo (2003) on the motorway.

But it has 5 speed manual, if 6 speed and lower rpm then lower fuel consumption

the "old" ecotec naturaly aspirated engine has it's limits 🙂 can not compare with a turbo petrol for acceleration

ye... but his torque and max power is totally offset.. 4600 rpm for max torque 154 nm, and 6200 rpm for max power 124 hp. I was trying it, but from 4000 rpm that engine is very loud and it is asking for shift up so much...

Because of lockdown car dealer are closed. But at mid february if lockdown end we can start test US cars.

that car was very cheap as new back then in 2012 and earlier in limousine and this compact version so with this engine and relative good equipment it costs around 12000 euro and you get car size of škoda Octavia

Fuel consumption is huge for a 1,6. You are saying this on every car, but not on this one when it really is.

@@Seba03111976 it is huge but this is older car with older engine but this car then costs same or less then Skoda fabia with 75-90hp gasoline engine and less equip too
