Best video I've found. I have the factory amp and camera. You didn't but you covered them anyway. Much appreciated. Also you answered my OBDII question that I couldn't find an answer too.
Very useful, thanks for the upload.
Thanks man, much appreciated.
Hello, hoping you can help. I am using parts from different sellers and was hoping you could help clarify what is missing as far as the pairings. I have a few that seem fine to ignore but others that seem like they should go somewhere. I appreciate any help you can give
Thank you for your video very good tutorial. Can you recommend a heaunit with a integrated usb
Is that a 7 inch screen radio? Will a 10.1 inch screen will fit on this model without the dash kit?
Hello, does the steering wheel controls (volume, mode,..) keep working with this installed unit or any other brand?
Finally found a video I can follow! I’ll be doing this as a weekend project sometime and will come back here if I have any questions. Definitely want to get a backup camera installed too
My fm and am on the stock one doesnt broadcast the channels. Also the stereo turn on intermittently meaning when it feels like. 😂 could be a problem with the cables?
Does this still work with cruise control?

PAC RP4.2-HY11 Radiopro Radio Replacement Interface with Built In Pre-Programmed Steering Wheel Control.. they don't have anymore in stock is there any other ones for the hyundai accent
You don't really mention the USB connections for Android auto/airplay. Can you explain whether you connected to the existing and how you were able to access it. Or if you did something else

The Pac module retains some functionality of the factory USB located in the center lower pocket (which pac USB side plugs into your radio), however, in most instances, struggles to transfer data for car play / android auto, and is just a glorified charging port. I suggest using a simple USB flush mount adapter and replace the power socket for a solid dedicated port for carplay / android auto: amzn.to/3gGHkms
Do I absolutely need to get the PAC to be able to use the steering wheel controls and factory aux/usb ports?

Yes. If you don't care for the harness that retains all those factory functions, then you can use the basic metra harness with a universal steering wheel control adapter, but it's more labor to install, and you lose more features. You get what you pay for.
How is your New stereo wires the Exact same color as the Old wires ?? wish Mine were that easy.

Colors match, but function doesn’t. You will need the adapters we linked in the description.

@@ProvoBeastAudio I'll just wire them together,maybe solder, then shrink tubing. I've already over spent , way over.
Does this utilize the existing Bluetooth microphone for phone calls?
@ProvoBeastAudio

Nope, you will have to run the analog mic included with the new radio.
How did it sound with the stock speakers?? Any increase in quality there? I'm doing this as soon as the harness gets in!!

Yes, you will hear a decent difference in audio quality with the radio that puts out more than factory. However, stock speakers are still stock, so just depends on your definition of better audio quality.

Ok all said and done I hear a very noticeable upgrade in sound quality. The 10 band parametric really squeezes the most of of the stock speakers. You also have no idea how much this video helped thank you so much!! (I bought aswc-1 and no success getting that working yet but for now it's all good without SWC)

I have the car stereo stocked right now so I would recommend upgrading
What are the sizes of the front and rear speakers?
@ProvoBeastAudio

Generally they are 6 3/4" Speakers from factory. You will need a speaker bracket (Scosche SAGMEQ656 Speaker Mounting Brackets) and harness adapter (Metra 72-7300) to complete your install as well.
