2011 RAV4 Lift Kit Northwoods Performance Suspension Upgrade 2021

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is by no means an instructional or "how to" video. In this video I show my experience on installing the the lift kit. Their website states this kit will lift your rav4 1-1.5 inches. The stiffer springs also help carry more load comfortably. This was not sponsored by them but here is the website if want to check this out or any of their other sweet products! I know I'll be buying more.

I promise there will be more integra content soon! The parts have been coming in.

Cool. Fronts are easy and self explanatory. For me personally, if I were to lift or lower, it be best to replace ball joints qnd tie rod ends. Fresh start for a fresh setup. It's easier for good alignment

What helps for me is first cleaning that alan key hole out as best as you can with a small steel brush and a pick and some rust cleaning penetrating oil.. Then clean with some brake parts cleaner and see if your alan key fits snug in it.. Cheers hope that helps.

Since I own a 2015 lifted Scion xB with a 3rd/4th Gen rav4 front oem suspension, and a rear 2.5” lift kit spacer, I love it. But after almost a year. The clunk noise of my rear oem shocks needs to change. I tried to get use to it. Not anymore. So Bilstein B6 front struts for 3rd Gen rav4, rear Bilstein B6 shocks from 1st Gen rav4 and north wood performance springs remain stock height for better handling, and reduce clunk noise. And maybe change the front end links to correct it’s length. And it will give my lifted xB handles and drives like a dream. And more comfort. I’m glad I found this brand to combine with Bilstein. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@scionxb-if6hp we have a Facebook group called lifted xB. And to answer ur questions, the 1st gen rav4 suspension is a bit small for the xB. So in order to lift. U got two options. 1: get 2006-20123rd/2013-20184th gen Toyota RAV4 cuz they share the same front suspension. It raise up to 2.5” lift of th front. And if u want to level it and don’t want to raise up higher than it already is. Go for 1.5” rear lift kit spacer by randode. He’s the one man army of lift kit spacers for all xB gens. 2: u can just get full lift kit spacers from again, randode. Or randy randode west. That’s the guy u will look for.

@GSTAVO Bytheway. Since I have the original front sway bar end links when I bought it brand new 6 Years ago, I saw these aftermarket sway bar end links that’s for the correct install. What was the difference between the factory and aftermarket front sway bar end links? Because if I have this setup, I feel like it’s better to be safe to get these for better length and proper ground clearance. What happens when I do get those sets, except the front end links made by northwoods performance, instead of keep using the oem links?

Because we have a lifted xB in our community. And I been told they already have few lifted xB customers with there product and they love it. I already gave them specs of the xzb2/2.5 front and rear springs to see what they do. And we both have high hopes it will work. Because both 3rd/4th gen rav4 shares the same platform as our xB2/2.5.
