Finally changed my 2004 Mazda 2 after it has served me 9 years without giving me much problem.... such a nice little car to drive.... it will be missed ^^

Thanks for reviewing... I'm about to buy the same type like yours with white color. Now it makes me more clearly to convince my self that this is the rite car to get along with me every single day.

I love the leather and the touch screen...we don't get them in America either! It is strange how in American small cars have to look cheap. We just don't get the nicer trim levels here in small cars. I think more people would buy them if they came nicer equipped. Perhaps it is our inerent greed and love of big gas guzzlers. Personally, I like small cars...I just can't get one with the features I want in this country.

@bartolo456 It's part of the spec list for the car, but I think it is an aftermarket unit.

@dave11686 Yup. It is. Surprisingly it's slightly longer than a Jazz, but it looks smaller due to a way shorter height.

I find it interesting that Australian market Mazda 2s of that vintage had cruise control as standard on all models.

I'm a manual fan myself, but lesser and lesser cars sold in Malaysia actually do come with a manual transmission. ;)

i wish in australia we had leather setas and the touch screen unit in our mazda 2... i know in your country, thailand and indonesia the have it.. we miss out lol what a nice car and good video :)

I have the 5-speed on the Sport version...with the Spirit Green paint.....I get 36.7 combined mileage and 41.4 on the hwy.......1.5 liter engine with 100 h.p. and 98 ft.lbs. of torque.

Hi mates do you think it would be a good choice for me (22 year old man,197 cm tall, around 90 kg in weight),I found a 2014 1.5 AT Sport.Since I drive mostly in town,is it a good choice?

i can drive manual i really can just hope it can fufill seating requirements. the fiesta looks like a joke i mean seriously what were ford thinking the mazda 2 is bad enough however, still bought one. what else do the others offer that mazda doesn't or can't be fixed with initiative. she said to me, if you really want to do that sort of thing you need to do it with substance, thats what she said. the money has been sitting there only generating three hundred dollars a month.

@bbbyeo Haha. I thought someone would catch that. I purposely drove around till it reached 888kms. It was 884kms when I started driving it that day. Haha. Hmmm...I don't really remember you asking for it. But no worries, my friend has a CX-9 on the way, he's just waiting for the new number plate series to come out before getting it. That's cause in countries like Indonesia(where Im from) most people are less interested in the engine performance than the interior features. It may be because you can't really enjoy the car's driving abilities as city roads are either packed or full of potholes.

Thankyou so much for making this video. I've been considering getting a Mazda 2 and this was so helpful. We don't get the leather seats or gps in Australia but I don't really mind. Has it got a full sized spare tyre, we only get space saver spare tyres in Australia.

I think they are 3 speeds.... took mine to the absolute max and then over drive kicked on after gear 3... ruining the run lol

he has manual AC, not the more expensive automatic one. he also seemed to have a diesel, top of the range is a 5-speed manual 1.5 petrol, 102 bhp. those rims are standard, there are some nicer looking 16" which are a lot more expensive. he didn't go for the rear diffuser either. I'd say except for the sensors and the engraved pipes, his is a mid range mazda 2.
