I absolutely love this video! The similarities to my country - Australia - are striking. It's a shame that Australia is full of do-gooders that believe speed kills. They'd be crying at 140 to 160 kays on the open road. Yet this is done safely, as this video shows. I must go to South Africa, and have a drive around. Keep up the great videos, in Germany and South Africa.

Speed does kill. There's a time and a place for driving like a dickhead and it's not on public roads. If you're gonna send it, go somewhere where you can only hurt yourself if you run out of talent.

When it comes to driving pleasure, it is often not just speed but how 'connected' a car feels to the road, not to mention the traditional manual gear shifter. Many older cars are more fun to drive for this reason. Australia is a borderline communist country pretending it values 'freedom'. So many rules over there, that it has become absurd. The people themselves are partly to blame for allowing their rulers to do it to them.

I know these roads are a little bit more dangerous but I love them. Firstly always for the views and then secondly, I'm usually more alert on these types of roads

From 5 to 7 liters per 100km, it depends if you drive it in the city or on highway. I own one. Very good car.

Ill take the road noise. Fun to drive cars feel more connected to the road, which also means they feel a bit more 'crude'. The more comfortable you make a car, the more disconnected it feels from the road and the more boring it becomes to drive.
