I've no doubt, that the XKR is one of Coventry's finest, with a supercharged 5.0 litre V8 producing 510 bhp, menacing good looks and luxury. The Aston Martin DB9 is no exception either. Good looks, menacing 6.0 V12 with 450 bhp and luxury. Both the Aston and Jag are the best British bulldogs for the 21st century.

Nice. It still has a lot more life left in it. I know it's a dinosaur of an engine but it's the simple design that makes them so bulletproof reliable and they still produce good power and torque if done right. The Corvette is living proof of that.

Nice review, the portfolio spec in the XKR is standard and is superior to the base model XK interior. The final 2012 version is really nice too.

As Jaguar is traditionally English, it's "Jag-you-are" I think. I love the Jag, it's basically an Aston for less than half the price - beautiful car.

The Scots guy who was the chief designer for Aston Martin, designed this Jag, you can see his influance through out.

Please close the hood from the front with 2 Hands 🙌. Closing the hood from the side strains and can shift the hood off balance, giving it a gap in the fit.

I just cant stop drooling... This, or Aston Martin DB9.. Any opinions? :)

This is a V8 unlike the Aston, so it sound better.

I have just seen the 2012 version, i think this is FAR nicer, if in 2012 you want to buy the 2011 model new, is it still possible to buy one? or will they be no longer making 2011 model?
