2011 Chrysler 200 Battery Replacement

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Here I am replacing the Battery on a 2011 Chrysler 200. The Battery on many of the Dodge and Chrysler Cars are located inside of the fender well.
Unfortunately, many Chrysler,Dodge Owners get upset when they find out that the Local Parts store will not change out these batteries for free like they do on do many other make and models. They simply do not have the resources to do so.

Thanks for the video. My battery was dead today and I couldn't figure out where it was. That is the most ridiculous place to put it. Last Chrysler I ever buy.

Why would the engineers who designed this vehicle put the battery in a location that is NOT easily accessible?!!! Thanks you for making this video. It's very helpful.

Just got a 2013 200 and have decided that when I take it in I'll have my mechanic check the battery. If it is oldish I'll replace rather than waiting to change it myself. Great video. Thank you.

Changing my battery tomorrow. Probably do my front brakes at the same time. I think the brakes will be a piece of cake compared to the battery. This video was great help! Thank you!

What size battery did you use? I used a coup size of 65, but it won’t go in all the way, should I go a size lower to coup size of 60?

Have a quick look at google there are tons of charts that will get you real close but consider the material that the fastener goes into. 70-90 in/lb

My mother in law's battery died. According to the manual: "The battery is stored under an access cover in the trunk." Searched, no battery. It's behind the right fender, right where this video shows it. Thanks Chrysler SMH...

That is just the fender liner you should be able to get one in a salvage yard, if not, the dealer(ouch).
