Thanks for the video. Ive had a popcorn noise coming from my 16 buick lacrosse since my engine swap(went in for a head gasket but they cracked the block) im sure they didnt put everything back together properly. Id rather have my lacrosse broke down in my front yard than pay them another dime

@@rvtechpro I don't know how I didn't see it before but during the motor swap they left the top nut on the ac condenser off! This whole time the noise was my condenser rattling around until the hose broke on the low side. The dealership owes me a new one I'm not messing with it.

So what powers the compressor cause mine doesn’t switch on where can I find the module? And could it be a fuse causing it not to click on? Please help my car is super hot in the south thank you

The compressor is belt driven and the electrical connection in the rear of the compressor controls the action for the swash plate the module is behind the driver kick panel

I believe i only need the ac conpressor clutch replaced and not the whole conpressor. Is that as involved as thiw is?

these are not the old style clutch compressors (fixed displacement) this car uses a Variable displacement compressor (VDC) there is no clutch.

This definitely a job!
