Hello, if I wanted to remove the module from a crashed Dodge Journey and put it in mine, would I need some type of programming or would it work just by connecting it without further ado?

If you're referring to the hands free module, there is additional wiring required and you'll need to have the Uconnect Hands Free option code programmed to your BCM. If you are referring to the radio module, then you will need to get the anti-theft code from a dealership. You will very likely have to provide them proof of purchase and the donor's VIN the radio came from. There's a bit of a risk when pulling radios from junkyard vehicles, as the radio hasn't been tested since before the accident.

I’m completely confused. I have dodged journey GT2018 No GpS navigation. Did you remove the module and put it back or is different module?

Different module. The module that does not have Nav is an RE2 and the one that does is known as an RB5. My navigation needs updated but dodge doent offer updates for a 2015 dodge journey navigation. Is there a way to update it?

Unfortunately not. I believe that GARMIN discontinued support for the mapping on the RB5 system. Which is kind of frustrating considering that the RB5 was the top trim radio option from 2011-2020 for the Dodge Journey. Normally I would suggest reaching out to navigation.com but maybe if you tried contacting GARMIN, they might still have the last version from production.

2020 dodge journey crossroad my system doesn’t have Nav icon, so I will need this part??

Yes you would need to swap the RE2 module with an RB5 module to gain Navigation. If you already have the 8.4" screen then it is the first option on this listing. infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/infotainment-radio-upgrades/2011-2020-dodge-journey-gps-navigation-rb5-8-4n-radio/

After installing the GPS antenna i received from you guys, its not showing the correct information. Im in California, GPS thinks im in Arkansas?

If you recently installed the antenna, you may need to put it on top of the dash until you get a proper signal lock, and then you can put it inside the dash. If the antenna doesn't correct the location after trying that, then we would need to get that antenna exchanged for you!

@@Infotainment_nav thanks for that info. Thankfully once we drove for about 40 miles it got the right area, and now it's pretty much perfect!

I have a 2013 Dodge Charger and im coming acrosss a "cant unlock maps" after a recent attempt to update my Navi. Can i factory reset the navigatoon "dealer mode" or is this something that needs to be physical repaired?

Hmm I am not entirely sure without getting hands on the unit. It may just need to roll back to an older map update and then you can update again. Or we do offer repair. Have you taken it to a dealer to assess damage?
