Lie. Ok, it depends on what do you mean by heavy drinking. Compared to a 1.4L turbo's 6-7L, yes, but that does NOT sound like an R8.

Mine does about 11 km pr liter. Same engine :)

guys help me! i really really wanna buy a volvo 5 cyl and im in love with the V50! Is it worth it? even if its a 2006 version? are there many issues with this chassy? or engine?

There super good cars dude. Regular maintenance will have to be done eventually. Alternator and belts, maybe wheel bearings, shit like that. It’s fast and sporty and I keep up with super nice cars and it rides smooth while doing it. Get the turbocharged t5 if you can. I’m at 196000 miles and the struts are starting to go out but I’m just gonna keep driving it, it’ll be fine. Engine is a beast. Genuinely think that engines got over 100k left in it. For the size of the engine though, it’s horrible on gas. I get about 18-20 mpg. Anyways I consider it my (beautiful) beater. I’m just gonna keep it as long as I can until it falls apart. It’s a good looking car for the price and an ever better daily driver. If you get it and you like it, it’ll be hard to let go of it. Ever. I’m me more thing, be careful for transmission slipping. These trannys can go around 180000-200000 miles if it wasn’t getting frequent transmission fluid changes. Check the fluid and if it’s dirty AS FUCK then I would suggesting leaving it forever. I changed my dirty fluid and it damaged the transmission even further.

Mines a 2005 btw. 2005 v50 t5. If you can find one without the ugly plastic underskirts then that’s gonna be the “unlabeled” r body trim, and that’s the one ya want. One color for the whole car.

at least this model (euro version) will go over 180kmh and with that will be more faster then 300+hp new models,
