    Glad it could help. I am super happy with it. She tops out at about 28 MPH. That's fast enough for me. Enjoy it!!!

    I bought a Pro Guide V 17 SC 60hp 4stroke 2006 bought new in 2007 ...Looks a lot like yours . Still have original tires on it lol ..I did mount a spare tire near the front right side ...Recently I drilled a 1/2 inch hole on the support stem that supports the crank winch . put in a 1/2 inch eye bolt and a 18inch backup chain . I like those heavy duty shackles you mounted .... My speedometer isnt working at the moment tomorrow im gonna try a small driil bit on the lower unit see if it s clogged .. Meeting my sister and her husband next week in Annapolis MD gonna cruise the Bay some if its not too rough..Went by myself in Bay two months ago , a real adventure ...Dropped in the Severn out to the Bay and into the South River where i grew up ...

    Yeah. A lot of the Vs from that era are very similar. A lot of people give Tracker a hard time for quality. If you know what you're getting when you get into one you'll be very happy. At least I have been. Enjoy the Bay. I lived in Frederick for a while and would go to the bay for stripers. Good times.

    @@phatdonkey78 I was checking the regs for stripers in the bay a few weeks ago and wow its not like when my Dad kept the freezer full of Rock in the 60's ......I understand now their trying restore better numbers in the bay ... Cool i'm about 20mi from Frederick ... With my pro guide my kids growing up went Tubing and fishing and joy riding , so i have a lot of good memories with the boat .. Over the years i thought of upgrading to a 90hp or a 115 , but my 60 that came with the boat run so damn sweet i cant bring myself to trade it in ....😃

    Yeah. I still have a 50 2 stroke on mine. Happy with it but more power is always nice. No kids here but I take the nieces and nephews out all the time.

    @@phatdonkey78 I'm about to purchase a 2008 with a 2stroke mercury optimax 9hp. In your honest opinion. How good are these 2 stroke engines. I've had bad luck with outboards and don't want to make my third mistake

    I love mine. I'm going to be redoing the deck next winter. Going to remove all wood and build it up with aluminum. I'll put up another video after the remodel.

    Good afternoon! what size wheels do you have on your trailer?

    Great review. Do you have the dimensions of the rectangular cockpit floor. The flat surface covered with the vinyl. I have some specific requirements for this and the exact dimensions would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Thx for walk around. Are you able to just walk the boat and trailer into the garage?

  • @phatdonkey78

    @phatdonkey78

    It can be done, but I have gotten good enough to use the truck. Even though my garage is 90° to the driveway. I bought a trailer dolly and the 1st time I used it, it broke a wheel. I guess with a better set a wheels that would work, but I just perfected the back in technique.

    is the boat stable when you need to pee of the side in the water? can 2 people move around without throwing one another out of the boat?

  • @phatdonkey78

    @phatdonkey78

    Yes, it is very stable. I have had 4 people on the boat and each of us taking turns standing on the gunnel and jump or doong back flips off the edge. No issues at all. The boat is very wide. 90" across.

    How deep is your garage? Im thinking about getting a v16 but have a 21ft deep garage and im concerned its not going to fit with the trailer

  • @phatdonkey78

    My garage is just a hair under 21 feet deep. My trailer has the fold away tongue and with it folded back I have about 8 inches from the back wall with the motor resting on the transom saver seen in the video, so at that angle, and have about 5 or 6 inches from the garage door when shut.

    How long is your garage? I am looking at at a v16 but my garage is exactly 20 ft.

  • @phatdonkey78

    @phatdonkey78

    Mine is 20 feet 4 inches. With the motor trimmed down onto the transom saver, I have 8 inches from the back wall and about 7 inches from the garage door. So mine from motor to colapsed tongue is about 19 feet. Give or take 2 inches. Hope that helps.
