Thank you! The hammering helped. I had it halfway out, with damaged threads, rendering most tools useless

What year is the car ? How were you able to access the rear nut on back of control arm instead of removing entire bracket along with it. I'll be doing this job in a week , so plz message back soon . Thx

I'm not sure what you are asking. There is no need to access the control arm bolts to remove and replace the lower ball joint. This car was a 2010.
