Our local dealership was going to charge of $800

Very well done video, clearly explained and the camera was always well placed for visual. We wound up getting the base - $28 USD - no need but I replaced the old with the new base anyway. The keyhole plastic piece I kept as is which helped so only replaced the longer handle piece. One addition were the two side screws which had a flat plastic cover which had to be pried off before getting to the screw head - simple prying this off with a sharp edge easily popped them off. Job went quickly and after re-assembling, everything working perfect! Thanks again for the assist YardSigns and best of luck to you and all that use this video.

...interesting in that the passenger side handle broke off last week, directions worked as well for this. A small tip, when adjusting the female key slot (twisting it so it locks) I just inserted the key half way from the outside of the door, once key lock was in the handle, and then twisted it to lock using the key.

If You're Referring To The Round Rod At Around The 12 Minute Mark, It Can Be Gently Pushed Over A Little To The Side.... The Handle Should Slide In Behind It Anyway Though..... If It's The Metal Bar On The Handle Itself With The Spring On It At Around The 15:09 Minute Mark, It Just Slides Past It Before Sliding It Sideways To Lock In Place Like The 16 Minute Mark....

Had to do one today that had manual windows. Without a doubt one of the worst designs I've ever seen. And just for reference for anyone that may read this, if you have manual windows you do NOT have to take the panel the entire way off.

My 2010 Hyundai Accent two-door edition drive side door handle broke last month because of cold winter, I bought a left side handle from amazon, and try to install it by myself.

The adhesive is definitely reusable, especially if the work is done in warm weather. I stretched the adhesive to about an inch and cut it down the middle with a utility knife. Tested the bond to see how well it reformed and it held just as strong as the first time.

How do you open the door if the exterior handle is broken and the child safety lock is in place? This renders the interior handle useless

My Car Doesn't Have The Child Safety Locks So I Don't Know For Sure.... My Best Guess Would Be To Use A Strong Hook Or Something To Reach In The Hole And Pull On The Mechanism The Handle Would Normally Pull.... The Silver Part At Around 15:36 To 15:39.....
