My lift gate won’t open with the button or manually. I also notice if we don’t drive it for a few days the battery is drained. It is a 2013. I’m gonna check it out thanks

Make sure to check for corrosion inside of the module in the rear compartment, very easy to open it up. It just has tabs holding it closed. Mine worked after cleaning the connection for a few months but then the corrosion that creeped up into the module disintegrated the legs to the board in the module. I found a replacement module on Ebay. Just search the part# on the module there and locate a new/used module. I have a video labeled "Liftgate finale" where I replaced the module and protected the new one from this ever happening again. They put that module is a really stupid location. It has been working flawless for almost a year now. Thanks for watching and let me know what you find. Have a blessed day!

So I haven’t been able to pop the lift gate with a screw driver yet. I did open up the panel and find the module. The one wire was all corroded and broke. I also opened up the module and it is corroded in there as well. Looks like I need to order a part and get something to replace that plug with the wires

We are having the issue right now where we can’t open the lift gate manually and when we hit the button on ceiling it just beeps. We had to use the screw driver method to get it opened but we still can’t open lift gate. I’m hoping this is the problem
