2009 Viper ACR - The Best Looking Car I've Owned
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Too bad its road manners weren't very good. Its such a love hate relationship with this car, would love to have it in the garage, it would just end up killing me one day. I sold this car after only 2 years of ownership. The way it tracks on the highway and requires two hands at all times makes it less fun to drive, but damn is it a sexy bitch!

How can you not like the Viper. One of the best track cars, NA power, and only comes in manual....
@Blazerghost

All the pussies that can’t or won’t drive a manual.
The 09-10 ACRs in my opinion are the best. They don't have all of the interior electronics that the current-gen vipers have. Steam gauges, simplicity and it reminds me of when i was a little kid looking at a viper and thinking about how cool they are. Just wish I could afford one ;)
Thanks for watching guys, hated selling it but I need cars I enjoy driving in the garage.

It’s my dream car too I really hope I’ll be able to get one tho one day if only I know where they be
It's been my favorite looking car since I was a kid!
When I first bought my 2009 Viper I had the same issue, it would literally jump lanes. I didn't have an ACR, just the "regular" version. I had the alignment changed and it was much better. Too bad you sold it, they're amazing.
I own a 2009 ACR. Awesome car. The price/performance is ridiculous. Agree with almost everything you said. I don't agree with your comments about the effort to drive and street manners. Stiff absolutely. My car handles like a dream. Great steering feedback. The car goes where you point it. And on the track wow, it is a beast. It does need a proper alignment. As you said, the car doesn't really need any modifications from factory. The few things I would change are the exhaust, as you said, and the final drive. The factory 3.07 final drive is way too tall. 3.55 would be much better.
Oh yeah I'll totally pop the hood on all those new vipers I see at Walmart

Just found your channel and ive been binge watching your videos. Keep up the good work man! Living the dream driving those cars around every day :)
dude, you could probably do an amazing Bill Burr impression.. also.. nice CAR
was I the only one that noticed the nuringburg sticker on the spoiler? 7.12 is really fast.
I love your videos. Especially when there focusing on a specific car.
today Mr. Spaghetti shows us his new shopping cart
Please keep uploading like this.....I think I can speak for a lot of other sub's when I say 'it doesn't matter what you upload, we're gonna watch'........the regularity, of late, has been awesome. Have you caught a whiff of anything from Ford, in regards to you & the GT? Good stuff as always, keep em coming!
Nice to see you gave 1 of the big 3 some props!!
I love these older videos!
Congratulations on owning the Viper, my favorite car.
Ive worked on one or two of these, the control arms are just massive. the car is awesome.
@ superspeed Rob, been in love with the Viper since it's creation, it's an awesome super car straight off of the assembly line. The only Dodge product that's worth a damn. Took one for a test drv yrs n yrs ago @ a dealership in MD.. took 5 yrs off of my life in 6 blocks, but it was well worth that 1 time experience. Practical no, but necessary on Sundays here in Fl.. The Viper has that command presence and stance, strictly made to shyt n git... you're right when you said "that rear view presence" ppl will move outta the way when "Venom" is present. Truly enjoy your vids, it's a unique and enjoyable experience for me to watch with coffee & the wife.
CONGRATS ON 400k subscriberssss
Thanks for sharing Rob. I used to live in Oceola cnty down there.
Love the videos man, keep em coming!!
Awesome car Rob always loved the look of the Viper ACR's. Sad that you ended up selling it though. Im just hoping you can get your hands on the new Ford GT. Thanks for sharing.

I am sad that it is gone. I wish to own a Viper at some point. I've always wanted one and you can get them at reasonable prices used.
Hey Rob, thanks for the great content. Are you doing alright from this youtube gig? you have 400k subscribers but the likes seem a bit too low on these videos. Anways, keep up the good work!
You make good vids rob love the channel 👍🏻👍🏻
Just seen this car on the highway 78 last week such a great looking car in the sun
the viper has always been my favorite american super car....the v10 alone is majestic....also are you planning on getting a new ACR Viper??
This car is definitely my ultimate dream car. This video didn't change that.
future collector car for sure. would have kept it

+GTR brah I may buy another one to collect, but the vipers dont seem to do much collector wise. Good bang for your buck drivers cars.
Yes Rob we all love tunnels especially tight narrow ones ;)
Love your vids man!
Thats one thing "tuners" always forget about these sorts of cars. Yeah you can boost a tiny engine, have it produce more power but all you have is a deadly car. Its cool but applying the power in anything other than a straight line is another story.
I like your videos Rob! You're a straight up dude
nice video Rob keep it up
Love the ACR. Shame you had to sell it (though I understand why you did) but definitely my favourite car in your garage.
Good for roadtrips, Bad for tunnels LMAO. Awesome Rob. thanks for sharing
Sorry to hear u sold it I agreed it is a love and hate relationship I just love mine more than I hate it right now I hope that don't change. . . Great vid!
Ive seen you guys years ago by EL CIDS in the viper and nsx. RAWWW
Always wanted a Viper as my weekend car and my vette as my weekday(DD) car.
Vipers are my favorite sports/supercar! There is something about them that is just so badass. They're literally a venomous reptile on wheels.
I always loved the Viper, and this one just looks amazing! I'd love to own one, but i think i would get annoyed at the fuel stops all the time, even if i was rich enough to not care for the fuel cost. I know someone that borrowed a Viper for a weekend, and he said he had to stop at every 2nd gas station or something silly. That car was fitted with twin turbo kit though, but stil. It looks and sounds better than the GT3, but i still think id pick the GT3. I've worked as a Porsche mechanic, and they are really good cars, great to drive too.
Interesting to know about the hood release latch. Never seen an ACR before, but I have seen a few others.
nice car :'3 i am not really into dodge ,but i've always loved the viper especially the 1995 viper gts, midnight blue color with white racing stripes, chrome rims and the way the hood opens♥

A 2009 acr and really any gtr are my dream cars
Ooh, he likes tunnels! Soooo smoo - awesome to drive through!
"Cars get out of the way for it" I was going to cry BS, cuss in NY, NJ people hardly even get out of the passing lane even for the police, let alone for simple driver courtesy ! lol But yea, maybe FL.s a little diff.

now this is a car! .. still my dream car
2:58 When he said 295's I was like "Wow that's a wide rear tire" Nope, that's the front tires. And 345's on the rear? I would not want to have to pay to have those replaced.

If you can afford the car, tires should not make you blink.
I think I saw this car on the turnpike when I was seeing family in jersey last summer
That is a great looking car. A very good daily driver for even the highest quality personal trainers.
I drove a Old Hennessy venom blue with silver strips. I have never had the shakes so bad in my life. I was probable the most like a rocket ship car I have ever driven. Unbelievably fast. It made me a viper fan although I would pick a porche turbo over it any day. I believe it was 2nd Generation
I would like to see a Z06 and ZR1 race the Viper! P.S. My bet would be on the Vette.
More Student Driver, love that thing.
It’s crazy to see these are still selling for over 6 figures over a decade later.
My man you have the best model viper, best looking and best performing. If I could get a viper, it would have to be this or the 08 srt acr. Believe it or not these are great drag racing cars if you know how to modulate the throttle and quick shift. This model is known for having the best traction. Beautiful car mate. The only other car that could sway me from this would be a 03 nsx with the pop up light delete. I might have to flip a coin to choose. I'd feel guilty after I made my choice regardless of the car 😄
I remember when they introduced the ACR
Have you thought about upgrading to the 2016 Viper ACR? I hear that one is even more amazing.
My absolute favorite car
Love the Viper sweet choice!
props to camera guy
I like how dodge didn't think to disable the seat belt chime.
almost to 400k subs!
love watching your videos! how much did you pay for the viper?
Rob- going 140+mph isnt gonna help your MPG :p love the vids
What do you think about swaping out car motors and replacing them truck motors for power?
Been looking for a fire extinguisher mount for my 06 coupe. Who did you get this one through?
Rob just bustin out videos to get the new ford gt, I hope u get the car man
Haha...Hey rob I just wanna let you know that I worked at that exact unit when you first moved into that area.
Love Vipers!!!!!
The lack of slots in the seats for the crotch belts has a broken back written all over them. You'll submarine under the lap belt the way its done.
from 4:54-4:57 it reminds me so much of that viper crash coming out of the tunnel?
Still in love with the first generation GTS, that styling... Still, I see some of it come back in this one and let's get real. This has more power, which cures just about any gripe I have with it not quite looking as awesome as the earlier GTS. Thanks for sharing the experience Rob, I hope a Viper will cross my path one day. Sat in one, never got to drive one.

Carbon ceramics don't increase braking power, just dissipates heat better.
Love the car and where do you live in Florida. I'm in Miami and you look like your more north because the trees were actually affected by the cold
Damn it looks Soo good!
As a camry driver I think would hypothetically be a contender for my first supercar. As you said, "driver involvement". My camry takes fucking zero effort to drive around. Your video description says it requires two hands at all times to drive? sign me right up!

Brownie I believe you but the moments before that death would be absolutely glorious.
The colors on this car reminds me of the Pagani Zonda Cinque.
Wicked ride.
How hard is it to find rear tires for this car? I was looking for the same tires for a TZ3
Rob, what fire extinguisher mount did you buy for the Viper?
I have 2009 Dodge viper and yes you can pop the hood like that. But when the car is locked and you try to open it the alarm will sound.
my dream car..... 09 or an oldschool GTS viper
more vette and viper vids pls!
I'm glad you mentioned 70-150mph pickup rate.. I swear my buddy's e60 M5 pulls much harder than this. Or maybe you were conservative on that 120+ pull. Not sure. Awesome machine nevertheless.
There was a beautiful green 4th Gen Viper ACR in my area. Got totaled in October :(
@dreambound.

What a shame...
Viper fact: Gen. 4 (2008'-2010'). Stock top speed Hardtop is 202! Convertible top up-201, down 200. The best Gen. choice for the VIPER. Look at Wiki. over 80+ upgrade/changes from previous generation. Carroll Shelby wanted the viper to be/look as close to the 60's cobra and I believe they accomplished that with the Convertible Gen.4. Not to mention they're among the rarest and appreciating like no other. Weight 3,250. And Viper gives their H.P. rating at the rear wheels.....all 600 of em'. Then there's the torque............
awesome car. old school track car
Rob, what do you think about a used 2013 SRT Viper? They're about ~69,000 with less than 2,000 miles on them, before any bargaining.
Man I love Vipers
I LOVE my imports and lately American cars have made a big leap but nonetheless when this came out I think was the best USDM for a while! Imo
you keep saying for the price point but you never say what the price was but yeah that car is amazing and loved the video
Great car!

why did you pick the viper over the brand new Z06 ?? price?? or is it because u already have a vette? i mean viper are nice and all but the vette tho..
