Good to Go: This is a pretty good looking Impala and I really like Impalas because they are notoriously more reliable than many other vehicles. The rear tires are about 45% and the front tires are about 35%. The oil still has 90% oil life left according to the computer. The radio, AC, heat, windows, turn signals, wipers, wiper fluid, horn and cruise all work the way they should. We replaced both front sway bar end links and the rear driver's side control arm. It drives very well and has great acceleration. It rides smooth and the brakes are very good.
Take a Look at: It's missing a small trim piece on the bottom and the windshield has a crack in it. There is a power steering leak on one of the hoses coming out of the pump. It's not a hugely agressive leak, but it's not getting any better. There is a check engine light (P0452 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Low, P2430 Secondary Air Injection System Air Flow/Pressure Sensor Circuit Bank 1). One of the climate control actuators is making a noise which is super common in these cars. It's a cheap part, but a job that requires small hands and patience. There sounds like the beginning of a wheel bearing noise (on the passenger side front?)
