Thanks brother!
I just had oral surgery, taking it easy watching your video.
Great to see you again Brian. I've been at my farm in Sweden quite a bit and I will be making the final move early next year. I will be taking a lot of vehicles with me so I always enjoy learning something from you. This diagnostic tool will come in handy. All the best with your upcoming surgery. I trust that the family is all well these days!
I was just getting ready to replace O2 sensors in the 2010. I think I might need a closer look! Thank you! Get better soon!

I have the same Zurich. It's a great time saver. I also have a think tool pros but for fast diagnosis i grab the Zurich. Nicely done.
Thank you for this video! Exact same error codes on my Escape. You just saved me a tonne of money when I bring this into the garage.

I'm glad to hear it! Thanks Herby!
Thank you Brian, I wish you the best with your surgery. I appreciate your helpful content.
Howdy Brian I replaced tons of purge valves on fords. Yesterday I replaced a water pump on a 2017 ford explorer with the 3.5 . It only had 50k on the clock. Big dollar job with only 50k miles is heartbreaking for the customer. Btw when you did a close up while testing the purge valve you looked like you were playing a bagpipe at first glance… the beard added to the visual . Lol Hope you get 100% soon

Those Explorer water pumps, I can be in and out in about 4-4.5 hours. Do it with the engine right in the car. Valve cover gaskets, plenum gasket, water pump, oil/filter/coolant and done. Belt if it needs it. And sometimes you can reuse the valve cover and plenum gaskets.
I appreciated the information Brian. Yes, the other probe company has some nice tools but they are getting expensive. I hope all is well with you and the family.

I’m running rich both banks 2007 mustang gt, new engine car sat 2 years before new engine, I will order new purge valve, and see what happens thank you!!
thank you
would a bad purge valve cause a single cylinder misfire I have a 2009 ford escape and it has a cyclinder 6 misfire and says both 02 sensors are showing codes. the escape will rough idle and stall sometimes after driving for 30-45 minutes when coming to a stop just changed the coil and spark plug so just wondering incase it comes back after clearing codes
then I only need to change one part to fix the code p2196 and p2198
Been hunting this leak for a while. Going to try and test the solenoid. Thank you for the video and sharing all of your experience.
