Pretty much every Lexus ever made was ahead of its time. But yes it is especially true for the ISF. Absolutely unreal

i'm throwing my money at the screen.

Ive had my 08 ISF for 5 years now bought it used in 2010 which I got at a steal $42k with 19k miles at the time. Its a very good car still solid performer and have received many compliments over the years. Its a great unique car to own because you hardly ever see another on the road. I can hit 150mph quickly before running out of room. Issues Ive had so far I had to change the front headlight on each side, my front fog lights finally have gotten quite faded so I just replaced them for brand new ones - a dramiatic difference. Also the touch screen on my Navi has stopped working. Radio and climate control work but you have to work with the switches instead not the touch screen. Want a fast car with style dont buy something new get a used ISF. Also I take the older style ISF over the new GSF thats coming out although its got 467hp Update 2021: I still have the ISF so 11 year ownership & a few years ago I changed the fluid in the rear diff, transmission, and Navi screen. I was going to stay with Lexus unfortunately they failed to impress and come up with anything better than what they already have with the V8 so I have switched to a BMW M6 which what I was hoping lexus would do a v8 twin turbo & I think it would sell tremendously. Best wishes to anyone staying with Lexus its still a great car 🙏

How's the ride? Heard the early ISFs had SUPER stiff rides that were really uncomfortable but they updated the suspension in 2010 or 2011.

I have LOVED the GSF so much overtime. But that spindle grille is yuck. Honestly, Im feeling better looking at the IS F. Just overall interesting

When I came back from deployment, I was in the market for a car and I was looking for this car or an E92, but was unable to find either, so I opted for. 2010 Audi S4 prestige, but still looking for this car, so after this deployment I will be looking to trade my S4 in for this car if can find one in my area.

Their grills on the sedans look fine, especially with how they flow with the design. SUVs with them is debatable for sure

Yo I just found out that this car existed, this car is the ultimate sleeper, it’s just as good as the m3 without the German maintenance, how did this car not blow up in sales? sad to see it didn’t sell well.

How did it not blow up in sales? Simple. Japanese have this habit of building some of the best sleepers in the world and then never marketing them properly and they just flop. German advertising of sleeper cars is just a lot better

The ISF Is one of my favorite cars.

Excellent review, very professional. I'v always thought it funny that the engine crank sound of the ISF is almost identical to the LS460. Of course the engine exhaust note is very different.

To all the people saying its a Camry, stop hatin. Number one its the a Corolla of its class (the ES is the Camry) and it really isnt a fking Camry. The isf is pure beast and much more sophisticated. SO all you are basically saying the S4 is just a Volkswagon passat? No!

wow great idea with the exoust pipes no idea why we don't see that more.

Driving this car is fun it tends to fish tail like mofo with tc off but it gets up really quick.i have to take it on a 0-60 run for a friend of mine that owns it.

With a r&r racing tune can easily get the quarter mile in low 11's. Supercharge it along with intake and exhaust upgrades and will easily be in low to mid 10's. As with most Lexus traction control can still get in the way even when it's turned off.

That silver stuff on the door panel you mentioned is called texalium (think thats how u spell it) wrap, often used for layers on hockey sticks to dampen vibration. Think of it as a cooler looking kevlar

My mom has a 2010 IS250 AWD thats loaded. And, her newer nav system seems more dated than this. As do the sunroof controls. Although, the power window switches are improved as these 2008 switches look straight out of our 95 Camry haha.

Lexus like these are for those who want reasonably priced, luxurious ride that can be a dd, without worrying about expensive maintenance. I’ve seen plenty of these with 200k plus on the dash still working like new. You don’t see too many amg or m cars on the market in full running conditions on the market

I quite like these, I'd probably have one of these over a BMW M3, not really bothered which is better in terms of performance or handling, I just like these a bit more. Not entirely sure why though.
