    Can you use the existing cables and just connect them to the new actuator part from the emergency release?

    Please watch the video. I believe I used the cables from the car as they were too rusted to get out anyway so to answer your question yes... Thanks

    Just replace the cables, they're very easy to remove.

    Can you please precisely clarify the activation procedure on the centre console brake lever upon completing the mechanical procedure.....starting with 'light on;'????

    Hi, I didn't really do anything specific, special or complicated my friend. I just pressed the button and system calibrated the actuators automatically as you can see in the video... Thanks

    ​@@projectathos it seems to me that the yellow error message turned red soon after it appeared. Maybe you didn't even have to do this procedure? 1. get in the car 2. put key in slot 3. do not press the start button (notice no 'P' indication on gear lever) 4. @ 27:23 did you click the start button??? did you move the gear lever? What is the "first light/stage" you mentioned? 5. (notice no 'P' indication on gear lever) 5 sec down, 1 sec center, 5 sec up on brake button. (did you also push down on the brake pedal with your foot while doing this?) (did you hear any sounds indicating movement?) 6. started the car

    Working on cars is like trial and error especially if you like to do it by yourself, if not have somebody do it as long as you know how to pay$$$. But i decided to buy the whole new kit around $170 online and its much easier to assemble it of taking of the old one and put the new one.
