@@melgarejoam Do it with the fluid change...drain..they out shudder fix then fill w tranny oil

How did you put this in, everywhere I read says add it in the transmission fluid fill port but these cars require the fluid to be pumped in from the bottom?

They sell a little fluid transfer pump that fits on the top of a regular quart of oil. It costs like 7 bucks. Put the shudder fix fluid in the empty quart of oil and with the pump, pump he fluid it into the trans fill hole. Make sure to first drain some trans fluid out so the shudder fix can go inside, if the trans fluid is high to the fill hole you wont get the shudder fluid in and just make a mess. After you add the shudder fluid then add regular fluid slowly till it just starts to get full and fluid will start to drip down. I would add about two or three tubes of the stuff for better performance.Remember to have the car lifted on all fours corners and being level when doing this.

so i'm confused. You have to jack all 4 tires. Then you have to place the car in gear while the engine is on, remove the fill plug and add the shudder fix. The reason the car has to be in gear is so the trans fluid cycles and doesnt spill out?

is this how you did it? Jack up 4 tires, put car to Drive mode (for automatic transmission), remove fill plug and squeeze the shudder fix directly there? Appreciate any feedback if it worked.

How did you add it thru the transmission dipstick by the top of the engine or did you have to go underneath the car

Did you decide not to try a fluid and filter change? It's all the fluid that causes the problem, right? So wouldn't that be a good first step? Thanks!

I have an e90 with the same problem. I changed the fluid with the correct BMW oem fluid and the OEM filter, I bought the parts from FCP euro. The trans service did not make a damn difference lol. So no a service does nothing but service the trans. The problem is the torque converter. The shudder fix is the best way to relieve it and may fix it. But the best which is the expensive way is to replace the converter which cost a lot to do and the trans needs to be dropped from the car.

Where do you put it?

Yes, It has been working. No problems at all! I have about 108K miles

hello, I have the same problem in my bmw e90 2009 328i N52, 213,000 miles, I never change the transmission oil or filter, what do you recommend, change the oil and filter and put the Schudder fix? or not change anything and just put the schudder fix? greetings thank you

change everything..drop the pan drain oil..replace Medtronic's sleeves and pull and change the filter then fill it up w good tranny oil there are many options..

hey, do you feel difference or smoother also with down-shifting when youre in sport mode?

yes because sport mode starts u in 2nd gear but even that is laggy and jumpy normal

I tried it, the issue is gone after the first meters. Perfect. At the BMW with ZF transmission, you have to watch one of the other KZread Videos. But noone say, if you open the refill screw, that comes out aprox 2 liter of old transmission fluid when the engine does not running. So, I started the engine, shiftet through the gears and refilled the 2 litres with the Shudder fixx.

Q BMW 'place the car in gear' you mean gear D right ?

Was it an on an off shudder? Mine does that going up hills or on acceleration. It's like a few seconds of vibration then nothing then a few seconds more etc.

Same here I got my tranny fluid changed and it dosent do it a lot and the gear shifts are smoother. It took for my mom to call a place to get them to change my fluid they all said they don’t change fluid if it have over 90k miles

@@rolandg360 howd you do it ? I did new fluid and filter etc less than 50k ago dont think theres really s need to do it again . Was thinking jack ik t up from the back to let fluid lean forward and add the shudder fix then cap it again . Or maybe it might be a good idea to get the fluid.. hmm..🤔

Yeah its between 1500 and 2000 rpm in normal mode and very lightly again between 2500 and 3000 rpm in sport mode.
