These thing are pretty much standard on most cars the the alarm sensor every car has that fitted as you have to be able to deactivate internal sensors on cars if you are travelling on boats or trains or if you leave animals in the cars or on stormy nights that might move car or your sleeping in the car. We all seen rain sensor cars had these since 1980s

First brand new car I've seen with over 76000 miles on it.

lol thats really nice to hear. I thought the acura tl i had had the best system ever, until i heard the maxima. Then i realized (including reading some reviews) that the volume in the acura is not to loud and the 8 inch sub in the back really aint got shit on the 2 6x9 speakers in the nissan. and the maxima is much louder and just as natural sounding. like i said id never expect that the car to beat the tl's system would be a bose.

Nice video, I like that alarm system with windows lowered.

@94BSO hahaha glad you like it man!! this particular model was bought used, with taxes in canada came to 35 thousand, but only because of all the added features, you can get some used ones for farrrrrrr cheaper :)

yep, its a wonderful car to drive, and the sound isn't too bad either. :) hehe. volvo is the best cars i have ever owned. had a 04 xc90 2.5t before. but the gearbox had to be replaced at 184.000km/115.000miles. so i just sold it. scared if there was more problems upcoming with the car after that.:) Ever had any problems with your xc90?

How much different is it from a 2009 XC90 or it the same thing?

how good is that system really? My dad has a range rover sport with the 14 speaker h/k system and tbh it sounds only DECENT for 550 watts. I have an 07 nissan maxima with a bose system, and although i might be slightly biased, IMHO the maxima's has a better soundstage, better suiting acoustics and slightly more natural sounding vocals and bass. some of that might be bc its a car but id never thought id say all this about a factory bose system. SO BACK to the question(lol): how is it?

Holy smokes haha this system in this car is quite good, but I see that the question has already been answered! hahaha but there are so developments happening for this car in terms of audio, but that will be later in the summer! But the system in the car is quite good, I especially love the centre speaker when listening to cps, it provides that extra surround feel with quite a bit of thump in the bass, unfortunately whomever wonder it before i did blasted bass a bit much but still good!

the acura blows away all the other bose systems ive heard(except maybe a cadillac escalade) and it even beats many h./k systems in land rovers and sounds more natural than pretty much all the cars ive been in. then the maxima pretty much made me realize that this system although good lacks balls (volume)

Just so you don't keep sounding dopey and unsophisticated, that Audio brand is pronounced - "DINE-Audio" , not "Din-Audio" lol Dynaudio is a highly-regarded, High-End Speaker company from Denmark who produce Audiophile level Home stereo speakers, Studio Monitors for Engineers and sell their drivers to other Speaker companies. You're welcome... :)

ah the centerpoint speaker... very useful component in creating a realistic center stage. Too bad from what ive personally head my maxima sounds better than 60% of the systems with those centerstage speakers, including the tl, the new maximas(barely), the range rover, the new camrys, and a bunch of other top notch systems. None have that perfect balance of everything (not too little this, not too much that, etc). Everyone hears things differently though

He said, I'll open up the hood and show you the beast of an engine. What beast? My XC90 has a 4.4 V8 Yamaha motor. Did he forget to show the refrigerator, or is that only fitted to my Executive XC90? And did he forget to show the telephone, or is that only fitted to my Executive XC90? The phone has it's own sim card, so when someone calls my cell, if I don't answer, the call is diverted to the car phone (who needs bluetooth?) It also has a handset, so if there's someone in the car with you and you don't want your passengers to hear the caller, just pull over, lift the handset and the phone is off the speakers. And no sunroof?
