+ Jeffrey Connell, Your car looks sweet man, I have an '03 9-3 Aero running a stage one noobtune 250hp and 370nm torque, the wheels are 18" with 15mm spacers what is the offset and do you have any rubbing on the front wheels when fully locked or have done any other mods?
@jeffreycornell857
8 жыл бұрын
+Clive Smith Thanks Clive! your 9-3 sounds nice as well! My wheels are 18x8 with an ET42 and using H&R 15mm spacers front and rear, no rubbing at all. I could probably do 20mm in the back but if I put 3 people in the back seat I will rub, with the 15's I don't. I have Koni Yellows front and rear along with H&R Springs. Did a Brew City Boost Stage 2 tune, BSR CAI, Mishimoto FMIC, cut the dual exhaust off a 2.8 Aero, painted and installed all the lower aero trim. Painted my tail lights to look like IceBlocks, swapped the steering wheel to the silver aero wheel with paddle shifters and enabled them via Tech2, put in Morimoto HID's in the lows and fogs and ZXE for my high beams. Changed the City Lights in the headlights to LED and had to make a relay setup so they wouldn't error check/strobe when off. I'm sure there is more I missed ;-)

If you have an automatic transmission, the tune won't give you any issues with it. If you have a manual transmission, you "could" experience clutch slippage if its an old clutch but probably still we be fine. The only weak spot are coil packs. Oil coil packs fail when you tune the car more times than not. So look to do plugs and coil packs when you tune to be safe. Tuning is your biggest bang for the buck.

@@markodonnell9653 Not sure where you are located but there are many tuners out there that are less expensive and probably better than BSR at this point and time.

Tuning is your biggest bang for the buck.

malik Langham Yeah it's funny as I was never a Saab fan myself, but then I found this one and did what I wanted to it and now I love it. I am actually amazed on how many people compliment on it and tell me the same thing "You know, I was never a Saab fan but your car just changed my opinion" lol, :)

Exactly! People usually either don't know what the heck it is, think its a 3 series, or know all about them and love them... I have an 18" sub in my 9-3, along with 9-5 Aero 17" BBS rims and that on top of the kind of car it is usually blows peoples minds lol... However if I had those rims on my car it would be a show stopper
