I miss the days when a fairly “common” GT car like a DB9 could just have a V12 thrown into it without batting an eye. In the modern era its hard to imagine a car like this with anything more than a V8. Also that key is such a sign of the Ford days of Aston Martin, my mom’s Focus had a key like that too lol

V12 in an Aston is a relatively modern addition. The 'good old days' of Aston meant straight sixes and V8s.

I could tell this generation of Aston interiors would be timeless. The materials used and layout is just a joy to look at

Tedward doing “Bond, James Bond” in all sorts of style.

That spec has aged extremely well. Easily is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Watching this makes me appreciate my DB9 even more than I already do and it’s like you say in these cars you don’t have to floor it to feel the beauty of the drive

That interior is soo beautiful and with my favorite color tan and wood trim the perfect combination. Aston martin are really amazing and beautiful cars

I love the look of this vehicle, only real issue that I notice is that the dash and doors don't seem to mesh all too well. Sure they use the same wood but there's no real style transfer from one to the other, almost like they were designed without the other in mind. The back trim on the door throws off the look as well.

Nope. I have 44K on my 2007 DB9 Volante. Solid car. There is one I know locally that has 191K miles and still running strong. Very comfortable to drive

Interesting, I have a 2007 Jaguar XKR Coupe, and it has a few more technological bits and bobs also they say. . .but alas no v12. The Aston seems to be more of a drive me like a nut job kinda car where as the jag is every bit a grand tourer.
