Hello from Mexico! You rock man! I had the same issue. I did not replace the motor actuator but it was missing the FUSE 92. Wow!!! Thanks. It missed as sometime back it had ABS sensor issues and started moving fuses. That got fixed, but this did not. Thanks to you I got this sorted!!!!

Question(My 2007 x3): My transfer case was changed to a used one and it removed the ABS/Brake/4x4 lights from being on. Now I hear a scratching sound from the back that was NEVER present before. Do you have a professional opinion what could be happening or what could be checked?

Take the car to The shop Lift it up and put the car on drive then listen To the noise see if you can locate it

Hello! I have a BMW f30 320xd, (WBA3D51010J476018), a few days ago I received an error on board (Driving Stabilisation), the car now only enters comfort mode and I have traction only on the rear wheels, after some investigations I found the following code: 48097D ( Transfer case - open clutch position, rear drive only), I mention that the failure occurred in the morning immediately after starting the engine. The car has no symptoms related to the transfer case, (ATC35L) it does not stutter or make any strange noises. I replaced the actuator on the transfer case and it worked fine for 3 days after which the error reappeared on the board, I took the old actuator apart and found a swollen capacitor in it. Do you know what can cause the actuator to fail? The second actuator only worked for 3 days. Sincerely, Octavian

The tires are identical and match, the electrical fuses were checked, the new actuator was coded with ISTA, it worked without problems for 3 days, I tried a recalibration with ISTA but it no longer allows it, I opened the old actuator and it seems that the new models do not they still have gears, they are in the electromagnetic field, I found the capacitor that gives impulse with the melted insulation, I will also open the second actuator and check the capacitor, I also changed the oil, it was a bit dark, brown The car is from 11.2013 and has 292000km, the first owner changed the entire transmission in 2016 under warranty in Germany I thought that maybe the clutch in the VTG is worn out and overloads that capacitor until it burns How can I send you some pictures of the disassembled actuator?
