​@@rohithraman6488Boro were a much smaller team and produced some upsets against European giants. It's a shame Boro weren't even mentioned by the press where as Fulham were strangely hailed as a miracle team. Both great cup runs. But for a small town in the North East, this was massive.

Steaua was at 2 minute to this final with Sevilla! ;(

To me La Liga have the best two teams (Barcelona and Real). Then Prem has the best 5-6 teams (Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham have or could win the CL). La Liga then probably has a better top 10 (Barca, Real, Valencia, Atletico, Seville etc) but then after that I think the league as a whole is better in the Prem.

@@mr8I7 let’s also not forget that the Premier League is unpredictable and we never expect to see who will win it. Just like how Leicester City escaped relegation in the 2014/15 season of the Prem and went on to win it in the 2015/16 season. With La Liga, it’s always either Real Madrid or Barca who will win it. Now this year, I think Atletico Madrid can win it.

Don't flatter La Liga. Sevilla finished 5th in La Liga that season (2 points off second place), Middlesbrough finished 14th. Your comment hasn't aged well at all with English teams dominating the champions league for the last few years.

john o shea Seville deserved their win, but we were denied a clear penalty to make it 1-1, after that who knows but we were chasing the game and they caught us with some good counter attacking goals, first time I've watched any highlights since the final.Fantastic cup run though, the semis and quarterfinals were our finals with two great comebacks.⚽️

Always been a championship club, we peaked this season, well above where we should have been. The players sevilla had were champions league quality and our chairman is local to the club. Quarter finals and semi finals will go down in boro history though.

By scoring 4 goals in about 60 minutes to come back from 3-0 down in the quarter finals and semi finals, you should take a look. If it was Liverpool or man United people would still be talking about it to this day
