I had a 07 STS-V with intake,pulley,headers,borla exhaust,bigger throttle body,ported blower and that thing screamed. Sold it last year and bought a 17 CTS-V

I’ve had two of these and on the hunt for my third. They are truly amazing cars that not a lot of people know about. Loads of luxury and performance for a very low price. Yes the engine has the NorthStar engines have a bad reputation but the LC3 engine was a hand built forged engine and didn’t deal with the same issues the older NorthStar engines had. In fact the LC3 engine is known for being extremely reliable. The exhaust note the LC3 makes is amazing and it just moves. Of the 40 cars I’ve owned this is by far my favorite car.

I had a 2006 V6 and the engine couldn’t handle my foot. Now, I’m looking to possibly get a V but maybe I’ll be a bit less aggressive this time😂

I had a 2006 STS-V from 2007 until 2012. Damn, this video really makes me miss that car. I don't miss the fuel mileage, but as someone said at the time "it effortlessly drowns the drudgery of driving in pure performance and gallons upon gallons of premium fuel". Mine was black with the black and red interior. Still one of my most favorite cars of all time.

I think just a couple things that are a little costly, but after that should be good. I think the intake gasket maybe

V for Cadillac is like AMG for Mercedes. The sts is a sleeper for sure but anything with a V sport badge is gonna be fast.

Yea my STS V drinks 93 too! She lives staying high in the revs. She’s got 6 speeds but I rly only use 5 of em. Bc even rolling 70-80 down the highway she likes it’s better in 5th. Car don’t like to hypermile She bogs down anywhere under 2 Gs on the highway 😂

This was the only true performance Cadillac until the CT6-V came out. Any other so-called performance Cadillac got either a Chevy motor or a Chevy body. The STS-V is pure Cadillac, motor and body. Cadillac screwed themselves when they charged $60k for the CTS-V with 556hp and $80k for the STS-V with 469hp & the cars are too similar in size. They should've at least boosted this up to 600hp. With only 2503 made its lower in number than the CTS-V wagon and those go for crazy money. One day these STS-Vs will get their respect,I sure love mines.

I asked my friend Dustin and he said mainly oil leaks and make sure the rear diff bushings are good. No clunking when putting it in gear. Runs smooth under full boost. No electrical issues

I got one lined up for this Saturday, so it should be up in the next couple weeks!

I have an 05 STS V8 has all the features this car has besides the supercharger of course and it’s fast for 320horse definitely a sleeper feel like it has more power depending on when you get on it I got about 170k miles and it’s running strong

Not even close. The STS-V interior is not even remotely close to the regular STS. The V variant interior panels are stitched in leather from top to bottom as well as a suede headliner and inserts in the door panels and seats.

Our cars NEED a tune so you can act a fool with her accordingly...the trans needs a tune for shit sure!!! Mine has a tune...3 inch from where the cats used to be on back an a bigger heat exchanger. Transmission is out and I'm thinking engine rebuild but by who??? Nobody does anything to them. I searched over all sides of Houston an found only 2 tuners that will even touch it then I'm still trying to find a credible engine rebuilder
