I bought 2 weeks ago also a 9-5 SW 2.3t in Fusion blue but is a Linear. :-D

Kul med en sådan utförlig genomgång av bilen, intressant att lära sig mer om Saab:arna! :) First up, you speak very good english, that was the first thing I thought about. It is easy to listen to, and that is great. Also nice that there are so many Saab enthusiasts, and that you all keep the cars on the road as long as possible, since the car dosen't produces anymore. Me myself have no real connection to Saab cars, the cars I come in contact with is my own 206 sport, the older version of the Mondeo and a Grandis. I thought that I already subscribed to your channel months ago, but I guess I have misstaken it with another Saab channel I follow. Soo, here you have a new subscriber :) Now I'm about to check all the other videos about your cars.

I just get new tires, my previous were Bridgestone Potenza AS and I found the snow and rain traction and braking in them terrible. I have now got Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 and look forward to testing them in the snow.

Congrats (to you wife). How do you fix the chips on the hood? I have some too and thought I have to respray the whole hood? Especially when it's a metallic paint.

Det blev en 08a 2,3 Biopower. Dock blev det med automat (krav från högre ort :) ) Ska köpa en till med manuell till mig själv. Den blir nog lite mer temperamentsfull..

I´m in the process to buy a 9-5 so your videos are really helpfull.Will you take down the side skirts for inspection?Would love if you can make a video of that as I plan to do it after I have found a car.

Hade också samma problem med xenon på min relativt nyinköpta begagnade 06 vector, bytte den idag, lätt fixat :).

Nice car, although I like the pre-facelift models and the 9000, of which I have one. Best of luck with the car, nice find.

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a 2006-2007 saab 9-5. Do you know if theres something i should "watch out" for when looking at them? also are there few mistakes on them? the one im looking at has velour seats, are they as comfortable as leather? (its 1.9 tid)

Rust, esp. around the rear wheels. Oil breakdown and starvation (oil sludge). I don't know much about the Diesels though.

Most likely buying one soon! Just a shame with the prices off gaseline here in Norway! Over 16kr for one liter... makes this car an expensive roadtrip car! :)

Hey, it's a good purchase. Comfy and safe cars for a bargain. But those gas prices...wow! I mean, you guys pump it up from the sea, it should be chaper ;)

I have and daily an 06 9-5 2.3t combi. I love it!, I'm getting the highflow kit from the previous owner. I love that blue! any idea on production numbers of that color?

Hi. I have a 2003 Saab 9-5 2.3t (B235R converted) Vector with Xeon headlights, and I have the same issue you had on this car with the xeon system. Could you make a video on how to replace these Load angle sensors? Thanks! Gabriel. Ski, Norway.

+TheDJGabizz Sorry, the problem was fixed a while ago, and I didn't have time to record. It's a very easy operation. Lift the car, remove the bolts, remove the connector and separate the ball joint on the sensor. Then put in the new one.

Hi mate great video just brought a lovely Saab 9-5 2.3t having an issue with the key when starting sometimes it works other times it don't is their a special way to start Saab's I take switch key to off put into neutral then turn key to start is that correct is their a part known to brake that I could change to fix it's like the ignition doesn't catch at you hold it in position and nothing then take key out try again and it works your help would be appreciated cheers Brian UK ...

Change the key battery.

Fabulous colour.....'re insurance my bog C Class is twice my modified Aero. I guess insurance companies consider them to be driven properly!

Hej! Har inte byggt eget avgasrör och kan inte svetsa, men vad jag har hört är det rätt smidigt att svetsa eget system om man har tillgång till svets och lite tid över. Då kan du bygga ett fint 3" rostfritt till liten kostnad och även få till racekatt och downpipe och hela alltet :)

Is that slow crank startup normal on these cars? I'm thinking of buying one but it starts just the same as yours. Please help.

I think it is, it's definitely slower than on my -02 9-5. Doesn't seem to be abnormal, but I've definitely noticed it.

Bränslefiltret på biopower sitter fast och ska aldrig behöva bytas.

+Anton Yes, this is a Biopower car and is equipped for E85 from factory. We have only owned the car long enough for one refueling, but we currently have E85 in the tank.

+Trionic Seven: For Saab Enthusiasts Nice. Is the Finnish ST1 providing your E85 there or does Sweden have other distributors? Btw ST1 recently changed the formula of the RE85 to have better additives. (Increased performance and lubrication)

Thank you for your reply! I am looking to upgrade tractor noise level 9-3 OG with the 2.2 diesel. Very much unrefined engine, noise wise, but it hasn't failed me going 650k kilometers strong

cant decide between a saab like this (prob 1.9tid) or a volvo v70. Might go for volvo because its easier to get repaired cheap i think. (need to take whats cheapest to own while i go to school)
