Had a trailblazer 4.2IL same issue. I would floor it and would sputter and then redline like a all star champ! I loved beatin’ on that thing. Unfortunately the control arm mounts rusted right off the frame, shitty design. Got $400 at a drive through auction for it. Damn thing was nickel and diming me to death anyway...

really wish the 4 cylinder one had the alternator right there lol. im a big sound system guy and i have the 4 cylinder and its buried down to the bottom lol. upgrading the wire coming off of it to 0 gauge was really fun.

Pro-tip: In most GMs you can reach under the dash and unplug the parking brake sensor on the e-brake pedal, so the car doesn't know the parking brake is applied, turn off traction control, and do burn-outs to your hearts content. Used to do it to my Malibu with a 3500, and it really cooks the tires pretty good. Although this thing sounds like it was pretty close to being totally nuked by the time you got it.

My dad has a 2007 Pontiac g5 5 speed manual the motor took a Jurassic crap shortly after it was rebuilt he wants to fix it it's a really great car we call it cherry because its cherry red currently its sitting in a carport tent thingy

running a 05 g6GT for a race car in the eduros which is pretty much a demo derby race. it is actually a very good car for a 1/4 mile circle track. they outlawed it in the 6 shooter division which is a points division and can only run american made 6 cylinder front wheel drive. Its not that its fast on the track but the GT has a good suspension and destroys the competition surprisingly hahaha

I have one with the 3.9 and a 6 speed manual she flys big time 30 mph per gear but shuts off at 115 damn limiters

I never saw such a fancy G6 before

My dad rented one of these around 2008 to take me to Old Lyme CT because he didn't want my car seat up front in his 06 Z06 on that long of a drive. Also tell stuntman its been a long time since we've seen a good park roll or two on the channel...
