Michael Richards is the person who played Kramer on Seinfeld, Jerry's friend (who he refers to in this clip, thanking Dave). When this episode of Letterman went to air, they had a segment with Michael Richards (via Satellite), who came on to publically apologize for the incident that happened around that time. Jerry was thanking Dave for having him on to be able to do that. In this particular KZread clip, it doesn't show the segment with Michael Richards, hence the title - The Michael Richards episode, without Michael Richards.

It was at the end and edited out....Good seen enough of the Kramer meltdown and his pathetic apology....his rant at the Laff factory was no laughing matter...he ruined his career in minutes....used to love Seinfeld back when they were new and in reruns.....after seeing Richards' show who he was, I'm not interested in the show anymore...he can spin it anyway he wants, he's a blatant racist...
Conflicts with small time Mob boses!
Another interview where Letterman was completely unprepared and, if I may say so, an emotional wreck.
The birthday thing for kids is right on so many levels, we live in Hawaii and here the 1 year old BD is a huge deal, I saw my sister kill herself/stress herself so much for this huge party of 300 people or something , the in laws were bitching about who was coming and who wasnt, so much money spent on food and decorations, fucking crazy for something the kid won't even remember and it was at night when most of the kids are tired.......
