I got the chance to drive a military Humvee once and it was a treat. Something that big and heavy shouldn't drive as well as it does, it's really impressive.

The H1 is the only Hummer I'd ever get. All others after that most people just bought em to get groceries

I think this is your best video yet. Great work! Thanks for covering the vehicle so thoroughly. I got to drive a mid 90s civilian H1, and agree with everything you said about it. The 6.5 Detroit is definitely louder, slower and less reliable than the Duramax. I also noticed the rocking at a stop due to the straight cut gears. All in all, an awesome driving experience that I feel fortunate to have had.

Yes Chris, that thing is probably like driving a school bus, but the school bus does have a significantly taller seating position than the h1, and more mirrors to make placing the bus in the road easier.

These are loud rough and gas guzzlers like my squarebody but we love these

P. Cookie Not a lot. H1 Alpha has a 54 gallon tank and 11mpg. He didn't even have to refill at all during the filming process.

So, the "in depth" interior reviews have been reduced to some pictures, no POV of the interior, nothing.... I'm sorry, but one of the reasons why I liked your reviews so much was because you did in depth reviews of BOTH the interior AND exterior. I can see pictures online, but you had that great way of showing us interiors like no one else on this platform...

2008 & 2009 H2's were all upgraded to "alpha" performance and towing specs, couldn't really sell it as a separate trim package.
