Here's an idea for drag builds. Soft springs high dampening in the rear. Stiff springs low dampening in the front.

thats actually a pretty reasonable performance expectation of a diesel on 92PSI. and that redline is typical of a diesel, most diesel engines make their peak power at 2100RPM

the reason that the torque spiked is that diesels combust using compression, and the turbo adds compression which also spikes torque

There's a Duramax in Forza?!?!? I'm so happy. Diesel motors and their 3k redlines.

Get a ford r100 in forza horizon 2, keep bouncing the suspension from slammed to rally over and over. The results are glitchy, hiarious, but not game breaking. As soon as you exit out of upgrades, it will reset.

1st was ok maybe need a little longer but 2nd and 3rd make long, 4th kinda long, 5th medium, and what I like to do with the last gear is stretch it so I can get good top speed too so I'd also say make 6th kinda long. U should try that and upload a quick vid of how it does then 👍 good vids tho

diesel engines react to boost a lot better than gasoline engines, mostly because of the crazy high piston compression they run (16:1-19:1 in most cases, some tuners go well into the 20's) take, and the long strokes of the diesel translate it into a lot of torque. also, since diesel engines are built for higher compression, they're (generally) harder to blow up than gasoline engines, and can take crazy psi and boost

of course, but the parts in most diesels are so heavy duty, they can take more boost than comparable stock engines. say, 65 PSI on a Duramax with stock internals? it'll be fine for the most part. on a stock internal LS? good luck

The way diesel engines work, there is no actual limit to how much a diesel engine can take. And 65 lbs on a stock duramax is no sweat, I've seen 70+ on stock internals.

yup, and i've seen over 100psi on highly modded ones. i wonder, however, how this boost can be affected by Koenigsegg's Freevalve technology, which replaces the top end bits with computer controlled actuators, giving you the exact duration and lift for max efficiency all over the RPM band

lol you should check out some cars in gt6/5 on ps3 the Peugeot 908 hdi race car has on its mid rpm turbo kit 1195 HP, and well over 1500 ft-lb of torque, the fisker karma eco sport, while you can't upgrade it due to being driven on electric motors has 398hp and 958ftlb, Jay Leno's tank car has about 1500 ft lb and the GT by citreon concept has 779hp, and 1800ft-lbs of torque, it's electric as well, there's plenty of others that make ridiculous power and torque, but those are some of the most notable numbers

how do turbos add 400 hp? in diesel motors boost wont cause pre-detonation of fuel because its injected right into the cylinder when you want it to burn. Some diesel drag cars run almost 200lbs of boost and nitrous at the same time. Diesels also dont rev higher than about 4000 rpm. This is because of the nature of diesel fuel, it burns much slower than other fuels

gingium most diesels usually have twice as much torque as they do horsepower

1st 5.79 2nd 3.30 3rd 2.10 4th 1.31 5th 1.00 6th 0.72 rev 5.23 that's the gearing in my actual duramax which is what's in that hummer albeit they have improper pwr/torque stats for that year of engine but oh well

It's because its a diesel they run at high pressure And exhaust pressure is far higher, and its kinda funny the hennessy lost 44 hp in forza

It's a diesel which uses compression to create combustion so more boost, more torque and power. Basic diesel knowledge. The more you know
