I found one with 50k in Kentucky, the only issue was the rust and it’s being taken care of. I don’t know if it was a bad choice for a first car.

I miss my 06 berlina black type s.. ktuned header and 3in exhaust, injen cai, bc coilovers, SPC adjustable rear camber arms, energy back poly bushings, innovative 75a engine mounts, hybrid racing shifter and shifter cables, mtec shifter race springs, and tuned on haltech. Was a perfect fun daily driver.

I miss mine also. Berlina Black only came on the NSX fam. Nighthawk Black Pearl was for the RSX base and Type S.

This is one of the nicest Acura ever created in my opinion

@@hondamanvtec2894 yes however I didn’t care for the first gen lights front and rear of the RSX in comparison to this years model. For me it was those indentations on the front bumper under the headlights. It was also a bit stubby looking in comparison to this model year. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the first generation had more horsepower than this model though.

Beautiful car. Had a blue 03 type s, then a white 05 type s…. Two of my favorite vehicles I ever owned

Really looking forward to this series! My parents had a 2006 TSX, such great cars, sadly it was totaled in an accident. I was was disappointed that the RSX didn't use Honda's great double wishbone suspension.

Golden Era for Acura, front design proportions were so attractive! Rear is clean and so good looking design. Profile is so hot too.The overall design is still a better car design compared to present Acura era. You will have ton of views for this project 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Love my 70K mile Vivid Blue Pearl ‘06 RSX. Bilstein Dampers, Spoon lowering springs, Type R rear sway and reinforcement bars - all done to make it real fun to drive. I completely agree with the easy to drive/connected feelings. Looking to see what comes up for this project 👍

We have been busy with so many other project. But this will be one of our main builds for 2024

My 2005 RSX-S in this same color with the grey interior is still my daily drive. I still can't find anything I like better lol. The light colored interior doesn't show anything compared to every bit of dust that shows with a black interior. I bought it when my youngest turned 1 and she's 20 now so I beg to differ you can raise a kid with this car lol.

Excited for this series. I have a 2002 DC5 Type S with 111,xxx miles. I bought it in 2022 with 108,xxx miles, and a good amount of mods already done to it, but I've been slowly making it more comfortable and more my taste.

Vivid Blue checking in, 2006 with 200k miles, type s, spoon calipers, slotted rotors, bc coils, Cusco strut tower bar, k and n intake, and yonaka exhaust. Progress front and rear sway bars. I really enjoy driving it.

I'm well into an 05 Type S Restomod. 90k miles. Need to do some PDR, install the CF Type R wing and have some new original exterior trim to replace. All the suspension is new, except the tie rods (K tuned still in the box). Added the Eibach 23mm bar, Hard race tie rods, and rear lower and upper control arms. They need the delrin rack slider. Brakes redone with new rotors, pads, and SS lines. Leaving the power mods minimal, just the intake and replaced the exhaust with a Tanabe Medallion to keep it quiet. Eventually, I want the limited slip, 11# flywheel and 5.06 drive.

I would love the interior. Have an 05 and uts great, but it's a base model so automatic. OK still pretty quick.

I was never a fan of tan interior but I honestly think the type s looks great inside as it is . Maybe even wrapped matching tan recaros would be cool

I had a 2005 RSX Type s with the titanium interior, it was in excellent condition. The interior to me felt luxurious and kept the interior cooler in the summer. I think this color is under rated.

I have a 2015 si coupe and a 1990 accord sedan, cousin has a 98 integra. I’m wondering next about 3 cars in mind. A dc5 type s, 2015-17 Accord Coupe V6 MT, or a bmw m3. What would you guys do out of the 3?

I hade one. Bone stock. Blue with black leather 2006 Type-s with A-Spec kit. The wheels was so mint, I swapped it with steelies and some crap ass wheel covers. Drove it like that for 2 years (with the steelies). Lol. Came with the sport suspension option up here in Canada with a .5 inch drop. I wish I still had it, but, as a dude that is 6"5', I was cramped.

White, do they come black inside? Or just gray?

FYI, 2005-2006 Acura RSX Type S have Type R camshafts (in/ex) stock from the factory. Same part number as jdm Type R camshafts.

I believe the methods for rating the horsepower numbers changed for 2006, hence why the same engine is rated lower
