Because I'm Scottish, I grew up with Michael Angelis. Alec Baldwin was my first American narrator which is why I like him.

Growing up i loved James this kind of ruined my childhood

I always thought Toad was the one who said “oh my goodness!” And James just said “what was that?!”

finally an interview with baldwin talking about thomas. i think this is the only one that ive found where he talks about his work on thomas

Well they did not do it with others like christina ricci and others and i forgotton Darn it im now talking like Sidney the forgetful diesel But balwin was the only one of the famous intreview

Now that I think about it, when I was little I do remember James being very feminine that I sometimes confused him for girl. Him being gay now makes since.

In Baldwin's "James" voice: Oh PUH-leaze! Red with black stripes are, like, SO last season! Blue stripes all the way, honey! I didn't really like Baldwin on TTTE, but his James voice was hilarious! XD

I really LOVE Alec Baldwin in Thomas & Friends (S5 and TATMRR), yeah, he may not be the best narrator by some people, but for me, he does a really fantastic job (except S6) and sounds really amazing when it comes to some humorous lines when narrating Season 5. He even does some funny and great character voices, too. He even does an amazing job as Mr. Conductor on Thomas and the Magic Railroad, too. Even some funny parts whether it's impersonating Sir Topham Hatt or even saying hilarious lines when eating each vegetable. This interview is interesting, too. I cracked up at this quote at 0:34. 1:03 James is a TENDER engine, Conan! Ah well, I'll just let it slip by. I still enjoy the interview overall.

Then the original music composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell would've remained intact. But, to be fair, Michael Brandon's narration can be tolerable in "Harold and the Flying Horse", "Bulgy Rides Again", and "Salty's Stormy Tale" with Mike and Junior's classical score playing in the background.

James is a little red tender engine not a tank engine Conan. Don't you know the difference silly? Also, just because he gave James a high voice doesn't mean that he's gay. He was just shocked at Toad. Michael Angelis gave James a high voice in the episode Bowled Out when he said "disgusting" and people didn't think that was gay (although heck who knows maybe Conan will start calling Angelis gay now for that matter even though he's dead now).

Okay, aside from Conan O'Brien not realising that James is a tender engine, not a tank engine, this interview is extremely rare. This is the only time I've seen Alec Baldwin discussing 'Thomas and Friends". Such a shame as some of his narration was hilarious.
