Really nice the 407. I have a Peugeot 308 and I am very happy with it, really good car. Just out of curiosity, are there official Peugeot dealers in Congo with workshops that use original spare parts and qualified mechanics like here in Europe or they repair the cars on the street by the first mechanic in the village?

@@alexsaffamerica Maybe it came from the Netherlands or Belgium. I know in my town where I live(Tilburg), Euro4 and below diesel cars and vans are banned due thier emissions. The same in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht. Antwerp is extremly strict, they ban diesel cars and vans below Euro5, that sucks.

@@MrAlfa156sw yeah true same in Germany many major cities like Berlin Munich Hamburg Cologne etc the minimum in most of them Is Euro 5 in some others 6 or EV only or No Car At All so fucking hillarious (sorry for my words) but i can't tollerate only being able to drive some BS Greta wants to dominate europe many pre euro 6 cars have been exported in most rurar areas you will be able to find some older cars worh no emission limit in major cities you will find many Euro 4 swapped old cars to be able to be kept western europe are green clowns in Eastern Europe they still drive 70s VAZ and other soviet automotives green west won't save the planet

Even I drive without shoes. It's easier that way unless of course I'm in the track with racing boots. Normal day to day commuting I like it bare foot.

@@recycleman975 I wouldn't say so, I know these 1.6HDI and 2.0HDI in and out, I've taken many of them apart and put them back together, I've replaced whole engines in mostly Peugeot Partners and Experts (in other PSA cars too, but mostly those two), they last 500k km easily if you change the oil every 15k km max and put at least average quality diesel in it. I've worked on a Peugeot Partner 1.6HDI with 600k km, still going strong. You just need to take at least some care with it and it'll run well. The ones that I had to rebuild/replace were damaged because people didn't take care of them. Most often they had damaged camshafts, cracked pistons and damaged conrod bearings.

The truth is that due to financial problems at Peugeot, 90s and 00s Peugeot's became notorious for having constantly failing electronics and engines. Starting with the 208 they started with new manufacturing styles and new factories and eventually solved most of the issues.

*What does the Peugeot look like today, a year after this video was made? Broken windows, no air filter, stuck turbo in the engine compartment, only wires and cables that lead nowhere. Torn seats and if the instrument panel works, there will be a lot of warning lights on it.*

Fast? On those roads? I've driven many cars for tens of thousands of kms. That shit looks scary and deadly at just 20 kilometres an hour lol XD Traffic is chaotic, nobody obeys the laws and just drives as their please.

The Peugeot 407 is a very low car even on good roads you can hit the front bumper of you enter a ramp like you find in multistorey carparks, so he must take good care of the car not drive fast and damage it.
