Great video, I did this job for the first time at my house about two years ago. Please check it out. I just replaced the whole hub instead of the bearings. Found it just much easier.

Wow now I know why my mechanic charged my three hundred dollars to replace the bearing on my Jaguar.

I would warn people about the large castle nut on the axle. You need a 32mm socket to remove this and a large breaker bar. Often impact wrenches will not move that nut. I suggest you loosen this nut before you remove the brakes. Have someone sit in the car and apply the brakes. Pump them up and then loosen the nut while someone holds the brakes on. Once loose, then you can remove the calipers and rotor. You don't really need to take the calipers apart. You could just remove the two 15mm mounting bolts and hang the entire assembly. It would also be wise to remove the sensor before removing the hub. I viewed this video to make sure that I would not run into some odd setup. Jaguar often likes to reinvent the wheel. They tend to do things a bit differently and this often will cause me to loose consciousness.

Milwaukee 1/2" number 2763. Strong impact, I'd recommend it.

the 2 flats by the track rod end, put a mallet on one and hit other flat with a heavy hammer, the thing should pop out...its why they are there and it's quick, most cars have this ..

Good DIY video.. I have a bad rear half shaft I have to replace.. bearing shit the bed and messed up that one so now.. speedo doesn’t want to display speed- also I have to put new speed sensors first to see if that’s the issue- these shafts are hard to find and are pricey- I ended up getting new hubs all around for my jaguar awhile back to get me over my bearing issue.. plus lowered the car with springs and new bilsteins front and back- rides good enough for me- just a few things to keep me wrestling wrenches. 👍🏻
