I had this code and there was a stick poking up from the bottom and preventing the fan from spinning. I removed the stick and cleared the code. Lucky break!

How much would I expect to pay a shop for that service of changing the cooling fan and connections? 04 trailblazer P0526

Hello I have a 2004 chevy trailblazer and it's overheating could it be the fan clutch?

I have a 2007 Trailblazer with 200k miles. It overheats when the weather temperature is high, the AC is on and the vehicle is parked. If the vehicle is moving it doesn’t overheats. I changed the thermostat, water pump and the fan clutch. The coolant level is as required with no leaks on the system but the problem persists. I replaced the mentioned parts last year. Yesterday I was using it and parked it for a couple of hrs. When I try to start it but wouldn’t start. It had the engine light with the down arrow on. I put the scanner and gave me 7 codes. P0326; P0489; P0483; P0495; P0526; P2101 and P2431. I think one thing is causing all this codes. The car was running good so far with the exception of the overheating problem which was happening only during the hot month of August. Do you have an idea what could be the problem? Thanks

I understand that you replaced the coolant system. Expect the fan. The fan is computer control and if you have an overheating issue at park. It sound like the fan might not be coming on via computer. There is a fuse and a relay in the under hood fuse block. Check those.

hey, I have the same problem, replaced the clutch, thermostat 2 X, now removed, and a new radiator, hot months of June , July, august overheats ?? wats up with this

If you have a 2004 gmc envoy check light comes on . The P0480 code fan 1 control circuit . what is the problem with it

Positive that you fan control system is taking a dump?!

I had a 2005, mine was a total piece of garbage.

How much did u pay for it, and is the center nut suppose to be hard to turn

It was in the $300's and I'm not sure what center but you are talking about.

It's Normal tightness.

Didn’t need to do all that work just two screws en fan it all comes out together just saying
