2004 Mystichrome SVT Terminator Cobra Review // “The Last Dance" of The SN95 Mustang Generation

I had the pleasure to review this amazing 2004 Mustang cobra in the special paintjob of Mystichrome. This car is absolutely flawless with just a tab over 10k miles, an excellent example of a 04 cobra. The 03-04 SVT Mustang Cobra official code name was the "Terminator", this name was given within the Ford development team (SVT) because this cobra was like no other cobra Ford had released at that time. This cobra was intended to Terminate once and for all the discussion between the Mustang and Camaro of that era. The result was a cobra that looked meaner, was comfortable and handled a lot better in the corners, also was a lot faster. With a fully forged internal rotating assembly (Manley rods, forged crankshaft and pistons) this 4.6L V8 DOHC hosted an Eaton M112 supercharger that produced 8.5 PSI. The official rating was 390 hp and 390 tq (later dyno seasons actually revealed that the engine was underrated and that actually the real HP number was closer to 420 hp) while the Camaro produced 320hp.

@@martindeleon9863 I was offered an amount that I couldn't refuse and I took it. I immediately regretted selling it but I was lucky enough to find my current Mystichrome and I have that now.
10:50, absolutely spot on. If you are driving the Mystichrome Cobra, you will have people envy you. It’s a Terminator. Everybody loves the 03/04 Termies

Great vid, those Saleen Cobras are awesome. So few of them around. I’m lucky enough to have a friend with one. Going to try and get him to take it off the lift so I can do a video on it next summer

The Saleen Cobra is ultra rare, 1 of 29 and 1 of 2 in that spec.

The lalalala sound @ 9:20 gets me every time. I'm biased Owning one, but my opinion the deep throaty clean sound of the 4 cam 4.6 is far superior to any coyote.

Beautiful car. Obviously someone has given this car the care it deserves. I had a black one for 5 years. Let it go 2 years ago so I could get a 2012 GT500. No regrets.

And the Camero SS had the T56 six speed i do believe

Yea they are certainly a very special car. Very unique car. But I don’t miss mine one bit. I fell in love with another color. But I do feel honored to have owned one! Cool video man! The steering wheel leather parts are actually done different than the seats. That’s why they fade easy! Many get there wheels re done in seat leather. I’ve actually supplied multiple people.
