I have an '09 H2 w/37's Nitto Recon, 4.88 gears new front axles from RCV in Pennsylvania, I built the tranny w/billet torque converter, output shaft, hi-perf borg-warner clutches etc it's a stage 3 transmission & I rebuilt the transfer case & new drive shafts etc, and the motor is new l9h 6.2l w/Magnuson supercharger, I installed all Kryptonite front end, its a beast but great for camping, super reliable, H2's are the best choice for camping, you have a great H2 too

    Sounds like a great rig!

The rear axle is a gm 9.5”. Commonly known as a semi float 14 bolt. Fun fact the hummer H2 springs will fit in the Tahoe/Yukon/suburban platform provide a 3” lift and increase the load handling. I have them under my suburban along with a semi float 14 bolt. They are all great overland platforms unfortunately I have started doing a little harder stuff than overlanding. Love your stuff keep it up.

It would be plenty big enough for a part-time rig. I'm going to use mine full-time, which is why I needed a Suburban.

It gets better gas mileage than my 03’ Yukon Denali.

I have the 2003 H2, get 11 mpg, every day driving with the 6 liter, plus you could talk about the 6000 gvw too, I have the Gobi roof rack, ladder and the tire mounted on the back with the front bush guard and step rails on the side, that was another $6000, I love mine, I get lots of comments on Bumblebee because it looks new. I would love the rear build out, if you write back I'll send you a photo?

@@Theorcman2008 Actually, he would need to say something if he was "trying hard" to sell it. What's your point, anyways? You do realize he's registered as a car dealer, right? He buys, modifies, and resells cars for a living. After he does the mods to them, he drives them around for a couple thousand miles to make sure nothing else needs done.

Ok first of all, I have been overlanding for close to 15 years. secondly He drives them 200 to 300 miles not thousands. He has had that H2 for a long time and can't seem to sell it due to the rust it has. This is an indirect way to sell it. He doesn't need to say he's trying to sell it. Everybody already knows he's trying to sell it because of previous videos.@@freedomdove

@@Theorcman2008 Who cares how long you've been overlanding? He did drive my Suboverland for at least 1000 miles after he obtained it and did the modifications. How do you figure he only drives it 300 miles? Again, he is a car dealer. All car dealers try to sell their vehicles. Why do you hold him to different standards? Do you have a 2004 vehicle for sale that has absolutely no rust?
