I think a lot of people have a soft spot for the e53, they are such a classic design and look great to this day.

I was about to say, for 200K miles, that is in immaculate shape. The steering wheel has definitely been replaced. The 2005 BMW X5 4.4i I had with 224K miles (previous owner took awful care of her), had a fully worn out steering wheel, with crack and rips, and a partially broken dash. This one is in amazing shape.

the engine is soo quiet and car so clean

204,000 miles, that’s cleaner than some e53s that are only 80k miles lol. Glad to see owners who actually take care of these. Up in the north east completely different story, rear negative cambers, non matching paint, logos are faded, foggy headlights, broken mirrors it’s just bad they look straight out of the 80s up here.

I own a manual 3.0i that’s gonna get a nice big single ball bearing turbo 😊 the m54 engine is a tuning gem

Is this thing still available anywhere?? A 6mt and non turbo straight 6 motor, this has 400k miles written all over it.

I have one inAustralia car sales there are 1000 BMW X5s for sale only one of them is a manual, so quite rare, and I can tell you a hoot to drive as well.
