FYI that’s not a 09 Mazda 3. That’s a second Gen from 2010-14. First Gen is 2004-2009

What tool was used to torque the inner tie rods? Having trouble finding something that can fit within that area.

Everyone uses this expensive inner rod removal tool. Don't see any videos with the $12 Amazon tool

No need to torque the inners. I think 1a auto even stated that in their tie rod video. Have you had to replace the lower control arms and ball joint yet? I bet you have. All those components seem to fail at once. Im gonna be doing the whole shebang on my 2010 mazda 3 soon. Did the struts a few years ago. Its got 206,000 miles.

Thanks for your feedback, great question. It’s a habit for me to torque everything I want to make sure I have peace of mind to knowing everything nice and tight as it should be. I haven’t replaced the control arms yet but the ball joints are still going strong no issues yet reported from customs. Let us know how your experience goes on ur 2010 Mazda.
