Hello! I appreciate the great video. I am doing this same console swap today (2004 f150). Question: do you know anything about getting that little white piece off (or more specifically, that metal post underneath the white plastic cover)?? The replacement console I received did not come with that metal post on the side and so I need it off my old one, but I can't seem to get it out. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Yes you can. There is a rod that slides through the backside. I have taken them off before with skinny file. I just tapped on the skinny file and pushed the rod through the other side. Check the ends of that rod, because one side had a bur, so you will want to hit the opposite side to push it through.

question sir, i was looking at your video and i have a 08 Ford f150 and looking to replace the center console with one like the one in this video that has cup holders. i visited your site but did not see anything for a 08 ford f150. all i saw was the 1997-2003 Ford f150 center console jump seat arm rest dual cup holder. would that model work in a 08 ford f150 or is it only for 97-03 fords?

It will not work. They are to wide on the older ones. Right now Im all out of the 08 style, but hopefully will getting more in soon.

I dont know what the oem number on them would be. I checked, and didnt see any stamped on the console.

no, there's a pin the same width as the console that runs through the entire hinge. if you can find something to punch that out with partially you can pull it the rest of the way out. the pin might be unidirectional I know when I took mine out I punched it out from the drivers side so it came out the passenger side.

Hi, very nice presentation! Do you know if it will fit 2007 expedition 9 seater ? The one comes with it doesn't have any pockets or cup holders.

I have only ever seen the full console in the expeditions. I do believe if you got the entire jump seat that bolts to the floor, it would work. The floor structure seems to be the same.
