In this video we dive into the procedure for replacing the rear speakers in your Acura TSX. The process is simple but can be time consuming for a DIYer without the proper accessories. You can easily fit 5 1/4 speakers in the rear doors without an speaker spacer or you can cut the metal of the door and install a 6.5. Depending on the depth of the speaker if a spacer isn't used it may cause the window to hit the speaker or the connection to the speaker.

Is it $40 for a pair or $40 for a single spacer?

@@Eon-Blue $40 gets you two spacers, two harnesses, 6 inserts, 8 screws.
Dash kits are so limited for this model that nobody ever upgrades the stereo, maybe y’all can change that. Would also like to see a plug and play amp,

Double din dash kit for the bottom were cubby sit in front of the shifter. Even if customers have to customize the cubby door by cutting, maybe a dress up kit/brackets that can be added after the cut to give it a clean oem look.

I’ve been really wanting to get a different radio for the tsx, but the metro kit looks so tacky and makes the buttons for hvac look cheap and the Tesla style radio is so expensive- I wish I could put my own nice radio n look oemish
Front door speakers are pioneer and back are kenwoods? Why not stick with the same brand or does that make any difference?

My rear speakers work but they are super low do you know what’s up with that ?

Literally have the same issue. Have an aftermarket amp I used their harness finally got around to installing the rear door and man sounds terribly low. The rear deck sounds better than the rear doors.
Boy you put a drill or a saw to my TSX and we fighting. Best to just buy new old stock OEM replacements. They sound fantastic.
