550 is still the one for me. Not like you can go wrong with either. Love Kennan’s coverage of these Ferraris. He is just as giddy and excited as I would be!

Kenan is gold. A reviewer who understands what a car is, not these KZreadrs who get into any car from any era and basically compare it to the new taycan they drove last week.

Kennan has gotten quite good as a presenter.

It would be funny if the channel had Filippo pronouncing the Italian names (and Italian words in general) while having Kennan lip syncing in slow motion.

It has serious performance blended with an elegance that very few cars, even from Ferrari, have ever matched. Please never stop the "nerdy" tech, spec, and performance details. I came to Doug’s channel nearly 7 years ago when I was looking for a review of the 575. It is absolutely an awesome car. I prefer this over the 550. Thank you very much for the review 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I love these videos, the technical stuff is my favorite

A very good presentation of the Ferrari 575. I like the looks of the Ferrari 575 front end a bit better, compared to the 550. But they are both just fantastic GT cars. The F1 transmission is absolutely fine, if you are willing to get used to it and to support it with your own "skills". The 575 is unbelievably comfortable and an enormoous pleasure to drive. If you can find a good example - go for it! You will not regret it!

I’ve had both and still own my 575. I prefer the 575; it’s easier to drive and doesn’t wear me out as quickly.

575 is a beautiful car don't get me wrong. But the 550 Barchetta has to be one of the most gorgeous cars ever made. Yes I said it, no I won't be taking it back. The older style wheels, front bumper, and head light design really do it for me

Hi, I own V12 Ferraris from this era. The first thing I thought when seeing this car is "Those fender shields are fake." "Like, they're really obviously fake." "It's glaring." How did you spend 20 minutes and even talk about optional badging and not note the giant fake fender shields glued onto the car?

Doug is also capable and detail oriented (maybe not to the extent of Kennan though) but “dumbed down” his videos a bit to appeal for a broader audience, not just enthusiasts

Doug is a caricature of what he thinks the audience wants to see. He's essentially a clown. And based on his viewership numbers he's not wrong - with the caveat that he's catering to clown fans, not car enthusiasts. That's where Kennan comes in.

I must say Kennan has gotten much better with his presentation from his earlier days. But, I would think if he is looking to get an Aston Martin, he can afford a trainer that can help reduce that mid section and increase the pecs. Also the Don Johnson look is not for him. He is better looking shaven. Just our opinion, we could be wrong.............

I'd love it except for the automated manual. It NEEDS to be converted.

Ferrari wanted a car to appeal to the American market. It changed the chassis on the 575, make it more of a cruiser, a car for the wife to drive, a car to drive to the golf club, something to drive down the boulevard. It was no longer sporty. All the comparison videos i have seen on youtube have come to the same conclusion, the 550 is fun, whereas the 575 is more an awkward GT, with that jerky slow fun killing F1 gearbox and softer suspension. There's very little difference in straight line performance, when you get to a corner the 550 will pull away from a 575M GTC. The 550 has a better exterior, the 575 has a better interior. The 550 is a sportscar you can have fun driving, the 575m is a cruiser with a jerky gearbox. There's good reason why people spend more money and buy the 550, after driving both cars back-to-back, one is a disappointment and one is fun.

Not surprised Kennan has a MoonSwatch for fun in his collection. I've seen the DJ and the Tudor Pepsi. Haven't seen a real Speedy though. Get one!

Hi Kennan, nice, this one. During x certain time there was the 360, which I think is the less desirable Ferrari of all time, yes even less than the Mondial hans down but then with the 550, they started to make nice GT cars and when they made the 599, oh boy, I think that is probably one of the most beautiful cars of all time, up there with the 250 GTO. The Miura or the Jag E Coupe, being the 599 with those side butresses I think they are called the top of the top for my taste. Anyway, this, even with that transmission everyone hates (not me certainly, I wouldn't give a damm if I could have one 😁) is a beautiful GT for sure and excellent for a nice spin over those mountains and sierras of yours down in California. Love a ferrari kennan video

What is going on with the light in this video? Like the only light available was the Bat Signal, and the camera can't handle it.

I really want to watch this video but it's difficult to power through the echo. What is it with these people, Doug started maging videos that had this horrific echo and now he's forcing his underlings to have it too? Surely at some stage, someone involved with the production of these videos has got to be like "yeah but the audio is really really bad though, let's see how we can fix that" hasn't it?

choosing to shoot videos in a huge concrete garage is probably not the best decision for audio quality.

These cars are appreciating in value again...they are like Mack Trucks, very durable and solid vehicles.

Wish this video was edited better. Many times when discussing 550, the 575 is showing and vice versa. Otherwise great narration.

I think it is the last model that had the classic Ferrari look going all the way back to the 330s...

I’ve owned one and driven it - 60,000 miles - so feel free to ask questions if you’re considering buying one. First piece of advice? The Fiorano pack and 19” split rim wheels are an absolute must.

I don’t know which one I prefer; maybe the SuperAmerica because of the Outrun games. One of the few “modern” front engine Ferraris I actually really like.

I think it looks better than 550. So much more aggressive but keeping the elegant side lines of the precedessor. And it is rarer than the 550.

Huge downgrade because of the trans but EVERYONE knows/says that.. what’s still worth mentioning is the “Swoops” inside the headlight lenses make the front end look very meek and it’s MISSING front fog/driving lights!!!! Which every super cool car has!

Come for the car/cars…not the host. Frankly, Keenan is Doug’s knowledge equal across all makes but, Ferraris are Keenan’s specialty so, he exceeds Doug there. Doug has 10 years of videos under his belt so, he is supremely confident in front of the camera. Keenan’s a little wooden, has improved since he started and will continue to improve with more videos.
